  1. That last shift they looked like they had given up just like Vancouver did when we went up 4-1. But I agree, they have one more push in them.
  2. Hossa ripped that dude off. He didn't even realize his wallet was gone.
  3. SJ can't even get into the zone right now. Great defensive effort by the forwards.
  4. Wow, Brouwer had that one ready to fire. This is the way to do it. Uneventful hockey.
  5. I didn't realize Toews had points in 11 straight games. I can see his name on the Conn Smythe now.
  6. Apparently very since he's been a healthy scratch all series. I thought he was turning the corner. Do the matchups just not mesh well with him this series? That's my point. I haven't missed him one bit. But mostly because guys like Ladd and Brouwer have really picked it up. He plays well in spurts. I don't think it's that he didn't mesh well. I think he was first scratched in the Vancouver series when Q was trying to shake things up, and since then they have played so well there was no reason to change anything. He seems to lose his composure rather quickly too That's the biggest problem with him. He's rarely a physical player, and you need that from 3rd and 4th line wingers. And when he does do it, he's dumb about it.
  7. In unfortunate news, kujay is not a famous athlete.

  9. Great job. Just a random thought -- how eminently expendable was Tomas Kopecky?
  10. Did a Hawk just dive head first over the boards to avoid a too many men panelty?
  11. No doubt, since that PP goal, the momentum has shifted again. Just survive this period and then go in and focus on putting this one away in the 3rd.
  12. Who else just loves when the Hendry/Sopel pairing is on the ice at the same time as the 4th line?
  13. Their big line is scary. I guess just like ours.
  14. It was. And Niemi was over and in position. It was just a perfect shot.
  15. That's alright, Vancouver got one in Game 6 before we buried them too.
  16. [expletive]. That is where to beat Niemi and they know it.
  17. Very brief grab of the stick by Bolland. I had to rewind it and watch again to see it.
  18. That's what Eddie said, isn't it?
  19. He had his hand on that stick for a split-second. But no surprise on the call. Gotta kill this one. Don't give them any hope.
  20. Whereupon Sgt. Buzzkill realized there are still 31 minutes left in this game.
  21. It's a little easier on the nerves when the worst case scenario is a tied series with 2 coming up in Chicago. No kidding. For awhile there I was just doing some work and sort of had the game on in the background. HE SHOOTS HE SCORES!
  22. Big chance here. FINISH THEM!
  23. I'm finding myself surprisingly calm watching this one. Although... KANE! WTF was Nabokov doing?
  24. I've seen that highlight 100 times this postseason and never realized thats what he was doing. Amazing. I never realized it either. I'm still surprised someone hasn't taken a run at Kane and just killed him.
