    It didn't feel like the Canucks outshot the Hawks in that period. And it also didn't feel like the Canucks only won the faceoffs 12-9. I don't remember being this nervous for Game 6 a year ago tonight. I guess the expectations weren't the same. By this point it was sort of house money with that team. Now it's there for the taking, especially if Pittsburgh loses tomorrow night.

    You know there's a game thread for this stuff, right? Not everyone on this site is a Cubs fan, essentially everyone in this thread is a Cubs fan watching something else. I figure a few of the most important game updates would be relevant here, but if people don't want them I'll stop I'm fine with, especially since it's not a WGN game.

    oh, cuz it wasn't icing I'd say everyone came to play. other than kaner Kane has been his usual solid self in the offensive zone, but in a game like this his utter indifference to defense is even more glaring. So, 88, just score a hattie or something, kay?
