"Bridge" deals aren't typically four years. But I agree, lock him up. Also, good to see Pronger and Lidstrom get into the Hall. It's easier to be magnanimous about this sort of thing (rival guys getting in, though of course they deserve it) due to the Hawks' recent success. Also, Bill Hay was voted in. He played for the Hawks back in the day though I think he's going in as an exec or "builder." My dad and I met him at the HHOF a few years ago. He was just milling about the exhibits. Real nice guy, stood and chatted with us for a few minutes.
