  1. The bell probably tolls for Sharp today. Should be a lot of movement before and during the draft tonight, which makes up for the lack of intrigue with the top few picks.
  2. Just perusing schedule. First 8 games against the East. Odd.
  3. Is there a history there? He's an [expletive], but seems like the kind of [expletive] you like if he's on your team. I could sign up for this. Obviously Dallas would have to offer picks too, but Roussel would cover the loss of Bickell and potential loss of Shaw.
  4. Well yeah but they would have just said that. It seemed like they went out of their way not to be critical, even if they did report on some of the things the players had to say.
  5. I don't recall watching him play, though I have his old player/coach 1985 Topps cards. Was too young to remember him. I've always been opposed to him getting into the HOF. This seals that deal: http://deadspin.com/long-lost-notebook-shows-pete-rose-bet-on-baseball-as-a-1713114568?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_facebook&utm_source=deadspin_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
  6. Yeah I was watching and was surprised at how the announcers acted like they were stunned. That might have been their chance to make a comment on the greens. But nothing.
  7. Caught a few minutes earlier as they came on the air. Greg Norman was talking about how wives and girlfriends need to help the players stay calm or some [expletive]. Buck responds, "but they must never meet each other." I laughed.
  8. [tweet] [/tweet] He said Kaner has pull around here and should use it to keep Richards around. It's possible he would accept a lesser contract if Kane just keeps providing him his castoffs. Yeah that's the quote I saw. Like to hear that, he was very solid.
  9. Richards made comments today that made it sound like he wants to stay. Not that it's surprising. But good to hear nonetheless. Would definitely be another "hometown" or "cup" discount. Wonder if any other helpful older guys want to ride this team to their first Cup.
  10. Actually, I thought Cooper went out of his way to point out that health determined the winner. Just heard his conference again. He really didn't want to talk about the injuries and noted that the Hawks no doubt had injured guys as well. I thought he handled it very well. Meanwhile, Cherry is going off on Twitter about how Cooper misused Stamkos the entire series and he should reconsider signing there long-term.
  11. Time was the Hawks would finish up and the Cubs were already toast. Liking this much better.
  12. that was featured prominently in the hockey night in canada all playoff recap Yep, that was great...the ref saying he'd never seen that before...hilarious. Yeah, who was he talking to, Sharp? I thought Sharpie said "that was pretty awesome" or something like that.
  13. They could have included Shaw's header in that video.
  14. I'm glad Mikita got to enjoy seeing a few cups, still sucks he can't enjoy this. Such an amazing group. Thanks Rocky.
  15. Yesssssss motherfuck yesssss!
  16. I have no problem with Keith or Crow. I know Crow got pulled in the first round, but he got hosed in 2013 and has been fantastic the last few series.
  17. It was great for Eddie and Pierre is give Hammer some credit tonight. We know how good he is, but outside Chicago he is criminally underrated.
  18. Keith would probably win the CS.
  19. And Desjardins. Great pickup by Stan.
  20. Oh man we should be up a few. Great chances.
