  3. Maybe if the Cubs would have had a 2nd or 3rd round pick they would have taken someone else and tried to get Colvin in a later round. But they didn't and we just have to trust that Wilken knows what he's doing. His track record certainly lends him at least a little credit.

  6. SI Jinx? Really though ... I hate to see him go down like that. He's an amazing ballplayer and from what I've heard an amazing person as well. I wish him the best.
  7. Come on now ... I know it's been a really rough streach. But they've got a good one going today. Z did his job and the rest of the team has provided the runs.
  8. My gameday audio isn't working for some reason here at work. My guess is our network just sucks here, but i'll just take it as a sign from God that I don't need to listen to this broadcast.
  9. Big SMOOTH!!
  10. Bump! I'll be flying out to Chicago for the first time tomorrow morning. I just hope the Cubs can put together a little offense for us when they play SD this weekend. Thanks to everyone that posted tips in this thread.
  11. Man, we didn't even charge to get into our games at my high school. Of course, that would've been impossible considering the way it was laid out, but still, I remember going to districts and knowing it was a big deal cause people had to pay to see us. My parents have had the same season tickets since I was in fifth grade. As people next to us have moved or changed seats, my mom and dad have bought up the extras. We now have eight seats on the same row about even with the 40 yard line. These will come in handy in about four years when my nephew starts playing. Is this for West Monroe?
  12. I'd be there for that!
  13. Welcome! It's good to see another Cub fan from Louisiana on here.
  14. Nice ... mind if I ask how much those set you back?

  16. Happy Birthday Bruce!
  17. http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/players/playerpage/288915 Yeah ... that will make you feel ... uncomfortable.
  18. This is a great thread! I'll be making my first trip to Chicago for the Padres series May 12th-15th. We're going to have plenty of time to wander around the city during our stay. What are some of the attractions and restraunts we should check out? thanks guys
  19. Yes Thanks! It was driving me crazy during the Baker interview.
  20. Is the volume for Gameday Audio fluctuating for anyone else?
  21. Awesome! I wish I could be there to see that.
