If only we had things like Addison Russell's apathetic words and actions. Oh well. We knew all about his stupid Pokemon card collection, yet anything he's doing about being an abusive [expletive] must just be a well kept secret, right? Oh, but he took the required anger management to keep his job, and he wears colorful gloves. Why are these mean SJWs so unfair to this brave hero who has been through so much? -
I don't know what Russell has to do with politics anyways. First off, some people can separate personal life from sports. I'm not going to cheer for the guy or buy his jersey but I'd like to see him turn his life around and if he's doing that and he's giving you the best chance to win, he should be on the roster. If Russell were to f*** up again, I'd be first in line in calling for him to be cut. He already "fucked up" multiple times on multiple levels, as both a professional baseball player and as a human being. This isn't his second chance; this would be about his tenth or eleventh chance, so please spare us with the, "I'll be the first to want him gone THIS time" nonsense.

There is zero chance someone can type this or say this out loud seriously and not be some kind of lunatic. Like, you need to think about some horsefeathers REALLLLL hard if this is what a mediocre baseball player has done to your brain.

Much like mewling over a mediocre OPS, pointing out that a bad player is technically less bad than another bad player (and when they play totally separate positions, no less), is not the slam dunk you think it is.

You would rather lose watching guys go 5-for-40 since he last started, rather than use the better player Theo gave 3M to play. You accused me of liking Trump but people like you are how he somehow got elected. What in the world are you babbling about. It's stupid because you want to call him up over TWO MINOR LEAGUE GAMES, as if that is more indicative of what he can do than nearly 2 full seasons' worth if games where he was varying degrees of ass offensively. That he's also a terrible person who should have been dropped is just a bonus to how absolutely hard you are willfully cratering yourself in a dirty diaper over him.

He's a marginal upgrade at the most, and willfully acting like he's some kind of ignored asset based on the tiniest of sample sizes is beyond moronic.

The Cubs are 2+ games without a dong. They've only gone 2 straight games without a dong one other time this season. The only worse stretch is a 3 game stretch near the start of the season. START DONGING, CLODS.
