  1. How they allowed the insurance run in the top of the inning was worse. You dorks. Revel in the fun times.
  2. Alright, time to start rolling out the funbad lineup...and then the funbad position pitching.
  3. He made like 2 appearances in 2017 and gave up like 10 runs then was all pissy when he was cut because it was the Cubs fault for not unlocking the genius, CY Young pitcher in him. He did the same thing the following year with the Dodgers when he sucked and they cut him too. He’s a pansy. Jesus; I completely blocked that out. What a dork.
  4. Who the horsefeathers is Brett Anderson and what is this brouhaha with the Cubs you guys keep yammering on about. Was he some rando Theo bust they actually got rid of?
  5. Unless he's somehow throwing his voice and creepily ASMRing in Lester's ear, I'm pretty sure the bulk of this is on the pitcher. Almora horsefeathering up completely changed the completion of the inning, Jon still made some bad pitches and ultimately horsefeathers the bed. But he had a good first, Almora makes that catch the inning is completely different in all likelihood. Sure, but by the time that, say, the 5th run of the inning has crossed the plate, it rings pretty hollow to hang it on the first out that might have been.
  6. Not really Started the inning with a flyball that should’ve been caught, a K and soft contact to RF. Unless he's somehow throwing his voice and creepily ASMRing in Lester's ear, I'm pretty sure the bulk of this is on the pitcher.
  7. Poor Vic. Good throw and good tag, too.
  8. Well, this rapidly escalated to, "let's sit back and watch this goon try to un horsefeathers himself" levels.
  9. MORE LIKE BIG [expletive] FESTER.
  10. Suck it up, Giant Baby Man; there will be no respite for you.
  11. You can say this about Road Cobs; they're at least considerate enough to always arrive early.
  12. "Please give us goods and services for this broken button and half a cigarette I found in my pocket, please!" I say be bold, dammit. WITNESS MY MADNESS: Trade Rizzo for sexy prospects. Take sexy Rizz prospects, and any sexy prospects it takes that the Cubs already have, and try to try Lindor loose from the Indians after they crash and burn either in the playoffs or even making the playoffs yet again. Use hypnotism if necessary. Lindor plays SS. Baez plays 2B. Bryant/Bote/Happ play 3B/LF. Schwarber plays 1B. I don't think there are enough prospects (sexy or not) to get Lindor. How about a package headlining Schwarber for Ramirez after signing Castellanos. Ramirez could play 3B, Bryant in LF, Heyward in CF, Castellanos in RF or Ramirez at 2B, Bote at 3B, and Bryant/Heyward/Castellanos in the OF. I think we're talking about very different Schwarbers.
  13. What you don't buy that a .438 .412 1.000 1.412 line based off of 18 PA with no walks, where 3 of his 7 hits have been dongs on the back of a .400 BAbip, isn't sustainable? THE DEVIL YOU SAY.
  14. Sign him in the off season and use Schwarber as trade bait to fill some of the numerous holes on the roster. "Please give us goods and services for this broken button and half a cigarette I found in my pocket, please!" I say be bold, dammit. WITNESS MY MADNESS: Trade Rizzo for sexy prospects. Take sexy Rizz prospects, and any sexy prospects it takes that the Cubs already have, and try to pry Lindor loose from the Indians after they crash and burn in the playoffs yet again, or even fail to make them. Use hypnotism if necessary. Lindor plays SS. Baez plays 2B. Bryant/Bote/Happ play 3B/LF. Schwarber plays 1B.
  15. Dude should be in over Bote or Almora.
  16. Man, Castellanos keeps winning me over.
  17. Yeah Russell had 2 more hits today with a double, had 2 hits a HR a couple days ago. Maybe its bad Karma leading to all our bad luck with the way some of the fans refuse to move on like his ex-wife does. That’s the opposite of how karma works.
  18. Or the Nationals. Or just shut up and stop posting Uhm, OK?
  19. Obviously you haven't seen the Yankees this year. Or the Nationals.
  20. Going in to today, Cishek with the sparkling 7.15/7.71 FIP/xFIP and a 1.34 WHIP in the second half.
