  2. It's bad just by how the gigantic scam that is building a new stadium is bad.
  3. It feels like we've had this happen multiple times: rando dude shows up who seemingly hates everything about the Cubs except the things that most everyone else here dislikes, which the rando defends well past the point of sanity, and then they also end up acting as hardcore Brewers and/or Cardinals defenders in how they talk about them like they're these terrifying, nigh-unbeatable forces.
  4. Unless that reason he was secretly almost 40 the entire time and it doesn't matter that he's 37 and broken now, then who gives a horsefeathers. How do you know he's still hurt? Are all our hurt guys going to be broken when they come back of the IL too, or is this just a SSS Cardinals thing? Haahahaha! Too good.

  6. Could I get my lineup again?
  7. If only there were some way to find a moderate response to such things.
  8. Yes. No Addison Russells allowed. (Theo is a scumbag and will exploit the plurality loophole)
  9. Happ has started just 4 of 20 at 2nd games since the last time Russell started one. And now he's going to keep starting at 2B, ah-doy.
  10. Sorry, need the room for Zobrist, who is 29 years older than Russell, and is much cooler and better in every possible way (despite proven to be a weirdo).
  11. Well, it's either that or Tim is so hard up for site traffic...
  12. Look at you acting like it was some innocuous post that just happened to bring up how Russell has been doing. That's adorable. I can't control you guys get so worked up over him. He should have never been send down, and he's still hitting going back to Iowa. If a post showing how well he's playing bothers you guys so much just ignore the post and don't get so triggered over it. Letting minor thing get you so emotional like that is on you people. Damn, this is some weak-ass gaslighting. Tighten it up, boy.
  13. He says, seemingly knowing Edith is a sock puppet account managed by multiple people...
  14. So we agree that he's a disappointment.
  15. Look at you acting like it was some innocuous post that just happened to bring up how Russell has been doing. That's adorable.
  16. He's younger than league average hitter by 16 months, His .891 OPS in Iowa is better than league average by .056 points and .108 better than the Iowa average since they don't play as many games in the extreme hitters parks of the league. The whole "he's only a boy playing a man's game" shtick doesn't really fly anymore when he's got just shy of 600 games at the major league level.
  17. Yeah, the only way he comes up now is if Baez, god forbid, gets hurt. As long as Happ is *checks notes* slashing .300 .391 .650 1.041 playing actual baseball, Russell can go horsefeathers himself.
  18. Perfect, I can wear my Bears SB LIV champions shirt to Miller Park right off the bat Oh, cool. Which 3rd world country are you going to go to to pick one up?
  19. Hey, the hair starts thinning up front, you kind of lose your mind for a bit and start thinking you can balance it out by growing it elsewhere. Most people get over it eventually. Others become president.
  20. The park keeping the Cardinals offense down also helps their pitching hence being 11 games over .500 at home with 210 runs allowed. =
  21. And I guess the Cardinals don't count, too, since they're technically a worse offensive team at home, which I can't imagine is the mark of a team you'd dare consider to be worthy of any kind of a winning record.
  22. You realize all you're doing is digging yourself into a hole where your argument is, "the Reds can't possibly ever be an actual good team," right? When you have to come up with a laundry list of reasons and ever-moving goal posts to argue in the face of the obvious, just punch out already. The Reds are a decent team, and they should have more wins than they do.
  23. Jesus, just admit you were wrong a single time. The Reds aren't that good of a team, just because they won a bunch of blow out games doesn't mean they should be nearly 10 games over .500. So I'm sure you think any blowout losses also are not similarly reflective of how good or bad they are. The Reds have a better offense than the Cardinals; to just dismiss the idea they could be a mere 2 wins better than the latter is just being stubborn.
  24. The Reds' pythag record is 62-53 vs. their actual record of 56-69. They are a decidedly better team than their record indicates. The Reds winning in a bunch of blowouts doesn't make then a better overall team. Jesus, just admit you were wrong a single time.
