  1. No, still frowned upon by the moral police of this board. Are you kidding? Have you seen imb's cardinals in hell collage? Go read the locked thread. Go step on a land mine.

  5. It wouldn't be surprising if they do win a few games here on out to screw up a top 8 pick since the schedule does get easier. Definitely; plus I refuse to believe that the offense simply forgot how to play football. They'll pull some wins out of their asses. I'm expecting 7-9 to end the year. 7-9 assumes 4-3 the rest of the way, meaning they have to pull off an upset against one of Detroit (2 games), Dallas or New Orleans (or more upsets if they lose to Minnesota or Tampa). I expect 3-4 the rest of the way. Oh, an upset is a given. That's how they roll.
  6. It would all be worth it.

  8. I fully expect the Bears to win this in semi-commanding fashion just to give us shreds of false hope and to [expletive] up their draft standing.
  9. That's a gigantic, sloppy fart of a leap to a conclusion. That's George Costanza leaping like a Mary over a puddle. Kreutz was a good player. Kretuz was known for being a gigantic prick. That's it.
  10. The offense [expletive] sucked, so I don't know why you want to keep giving him credit for that.
  11. http://www.gifbin.com/bin/032010/reverse-1269602956_dr-mccoy-and-captain-kirk-approve.gif I think I'd prefer him over Hamels.
  12. Great! My willingness to trade him is based out of concern, not actively hoping he fails, so it's not like a player on my favorite team turning out to be good would be a bad thing. It might ruin our draft position and cost us the next Kris Bryant. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/2012/11/face-slap.gif
  13. So was Urlacher, but despite that he still knew how to manage the team, and especially when it came to managing the defense during the game. There's nothing to indicate Kreutz had anything along those lines. Both were sadistic dickheads, but one actually (accidentally?) also knew how to lead a team. Pretty sure Kreutz was an all-pro who called all the protections at the line. He had street cred, he wasn't some limp dick off the street. Yeah, he ran the OL, not the team or the offense or the defense. Whoopedy-[expletive]. He was a good player who was a mook and got his kicks intimidating his own teammates.

  15. Come in, it's Lord Strikeout, Tons of Fun and Inevitable Reliever. If the Phillies could be tricked in to that there should be wine and orgies.

  17. Hamels for Baez, Vogelbach and Edwards? Done and done.

  19. i think Lovie just delegated all the leadership to Urlacher and Kreutz and let them deliver the tough messages. Lovie himself was just nice to everyone. That's completely wrong. Please stop praising Kreutz.
  20. Kreutz was terrible and the team was a complete joke for half his time on the roster. There's always a need for leadership and Briggs was also a horrible option for that role. Urlacher filled that role and was a star impact player who made a difference. Kreutz was a freaking center, one of the least important jobs on the starting offense. His leadership was based on being a dick and didn't make anybody any better. He was the face of the offense when the team couldn't play offense. All this. Agreed. Kreutz was a lunatic who did nothing except start [expletive] likely to get himself off. Urlacher I'll give some credit to, but I think a lot more goes to Lovie. I think coaches who can actually manage their players has the most impact as opposed to some monster player-leader creature. I think the coach creates the structure that allows his best/most respected players to take on some of the locker room leadership. Sure, but that still comes back to the coach being the more important component.

  22. Ugh, he is the worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssst.
  23. If they are getting a bunch of really good guys and spending money, sure, let Russell have a cut. But if he's the headliner this is a huge dud. If he's the headliner everyone is getting an ice pick to the back of the neck.
  24. Yes. I want the FO to have this moment before every transaction going forward:
