    Yes, because all anyone wanted was for the Cubs to simply sign a random number of players. All these random players make sense, so they aren't so random. I was replying to the "good amount" part, where it seemed like you were saying there had been people simply wishing that the Cubs signed X number of players regardless of whether they were good or not. It wasn't just an issue between not signing anyone and signing someone.

    You've got this weird thing where you think Hinrich is "Thibs' guy." He was signed to be Rose's backup; Rose has either been injured or being worked back to full strength. If you have anything resembling a healthy Rose you won't see nearly as much Hinirch. He's not being played as much as he is because Thibs has a mancrush on him.
