    I "get" the old cranks that just can't wrap their heads around something like, say, WAR, but something like Collins ranting about OPS is just absurd at this point.

    I don't doubt almost any football players has/had it; it very well could have contributed to what he did, but he also demonstrated a clear and all too typical escalating pattern of violence minus any self-harm (then or since). It's obviously still a field without a lot of understanding, but he fits a lot more into the patterns of domestic abusers/murderers than someone who lashes out because of CTE.

    If you get past the racial slurs, the comment that stood out to me was, "he's not even a good hitter. I'll take my chances with Piscotty". I particularly liked the guy who said "I still can't see how a guy that big and strong couldn't have more than 60 RBI's" and the guy who followed it up with "Clutch can't be improved by lifting weights. See Joe Montana. Heyward was a palm to the face most of the season, and the softest 290 in history." Followed swiftly by a racist comment. Hahahahah! It's the guy I just posted about. That's a special kind of disconnect.

    My my those comments on that Youtube video. I like the one dude acting all incredulous at being called a racist after, like, half a dozen posts of him calling someone a "[expletive]" and all kinds of ugly jokes about Hispanics.
