For me, it has nothing to do with the Bears and everything to do with the Cubs winning the World Series. Really struggling to care about other sports again. But yeah, the Packers are going to the Super Bowl if they're going to play like this. Maybe the Patriots will stop them. As a casual observer, a Cowboys/Patriots SB is infinitely more intolerable than the Packers winning. So to that I say:

Frankly, I'm surprised by the default unwilllingness to discuss seriously any POV coming from a conservative, but that's probably because I'm a foreigner. Oh horsefeathers off. Hahahahaah! Yeah, if only we could be more like the melting pot of political and social tolerance that is Europe.

it doesn't matter that they were both terrible candidates (which a lot of us agree with), it's that the one who somehow was able to win was the worst candidate ever. and it ain't even close. Isn't the worst candidate ever actually Hillary for managing to lose to Trump? He's talking about "worst" in terms of basic humanity, not the quality of the campaign.

Well, when the default is to come right out of the gate with things like, "guns aren't a problem" or "Trump and [insert random Democrat] are equally bad," that person is already indicating they're entrenched in a basically unmovable, unrealistic and unreasonable mindset.
