Counterpoint: Harry Caray was horsefeathering garbage, Len & JD are hilarious and awesome, and them handling the guest is much more entertaining than placating the meatballs with a slobbering wreck. Ok. This I agree with completely. Though I never really had an issue with Harry. He didn't really add much to the broadcast but I was a dumb kid so it kinda evened out. I'm sure I would hate him now bc Len and JD (hell or even Bob) are so much better. But at the time I didn't care. I mean, they don't even use a clip of him earlier in his career with the Cubs; they gotta get him at his sloppiest. Dude was already a drunken wreck by the time he got to the Cubs, but he at least had games where he could keep it together. Using a clip of him post-stroke is just no good. -

fullback no. Which "celebrity" would you miss most? It's a tradition (like it or not) that's going to survive. Trying to listen to Len and JD make awkward conversation with some random person sucks.
