    Yeah, that's what they settled on; the Marlins apparently don't have a problem going to Milwaukee. Oh well. the marlins are in the process of having the league approve a sale. They'll do as they are told. Yes, I'm sure the Marlins would be in real danger of having their Jeets-branded sale scuttled if they pushed back against what I guess is MLB's inexplicable goal to appease the vaunted Brewers because of...reasons.

    OK, so this is my theory: Justin Wilson has been SO terrible that the FO is leaning towards leaving him off of the playoff roster, so they want Montgomery sliding back in as the main lefty out of the bullpen, which means we get a dude making his rookie debut tonight with only a 2 [expletive] game lead in the division. http://static.celebuzz.com/uploads/2015/05/Mad-Men-Don-Wah.gif Well, at least you cain't say that the 2017 Cubs don't make things interesting. Hopefully we see basically the same lineup again that we should be seeing as much as [expletive] possible. So let's go for that sweep with some happy thoughts, you miserable sacks of horsefeathers:

    horsefeathers him; he's been tolerable at best the whole time they had him. Launch him into the lake. In fairness, his 2015 was fairly good, way more than tolerable. In fairness, he's an unremarkable reliever who should go sniff farts and deserves nothing but shunning and chewing gum stuck to his shoes.

    Don't listen to these yammering Pollyannas; Montgomery being banished back to the pen is likely due in no small part to how hopelessly terrible Wilson has looked, and he deserves nothing but scorn.

    Because a hurricane hit Texas. The Rangers stadium was fine, and the Rangers offered as much. The Astros wanted it count as their road game and have the Rangers come to Houston late in the year when they were scheduled as home. They split the baby and left the state Yeah, that's what they settled on; the Marlins apparently don't have a problem going to Milwaukee. Oh well.

    They haven't always done that. There was going to be a home team in the series anyway, so it's really not a big deal that that gets flipped because of extraordinary circumstances. As recently as a few weeks ago, Texas vs. Houston was moved to Tampa. Because a hurricane hit Texas.

    When this has happened previously they've moved these games to neutral ground...I think that's the bone of contention here. That's how Zambrano ended up with a no-no against the Astros in Milwaukee. They haven't always done that. There was going to be a home team in the series anyway, so it's really not a big deal that that gets flipped because of extraordinary circumstances.
