But it's not even remembering the game so much as, "hey, remember how Zambrano horsefeathering left and retired basically in THE MIDDLE OF A GAME?" Like, that was a thing much discussed outside of just, "hey did you see that game the other day?"

Can confirm; my dad and uncle repeatedly bemoan why Almora isn't playing more AND why isn't he always leading off, and it ALWAYS comes back to them talking about his batting average.

He was throwing the same horsefeathering pitch almost every single time. Honestly, it was more an indictment of Turner that he could only keep fouling off that shitty fastball.

Yeah, like facing the bottom of the Nat's lineup and the terrible, terrible guy the have leading off. If that's a "high leverage situation," then you might as well not use him at all.
