Yeah, because having too many capable pitchers is a bad thing. That was such a careless post. I'm hoping he kicks ass. I'd rather have Gooz in the long-man role. He still learning how to pitch. He'd make a nasty weapon coming out of the pen. If you guys think Wade Miller is going to be a capable ML starting pitcher once the regular season rolls around, good for you. I'll go on being "careless" and expecting not very much from him. There's a difference between that and rooting for him to fail. It was a small sample size, but he sure seemed pretty capable at the ML level at the end of last year. I don't think anyone is expecting more out of him than to be a decent #5 starter and attract some attention in a trade, both things that benefit the Cubs immensely.
