  1. I answered your question above. I put together the broadcast schedule before the season began. Because it does sometimes change, I also included links at the bottom of the schedule page for the XM schedule and the MLB broadcast schedule. oops, i missed that post, thanks, my sarcasm was directed towards the others that responded to my origional query That's just the booze talkin'. OK, NOW Lou is gonna break Theriot in half.
  2. Heh, Lou and Lee patting Ryan on the back at the mound.
  3. Bad, bad, baaaaaaad choice/throw by The Riot.
  4. And nobody needs to count on him...the team has planned around him. If he produces, awesome, it's cake. If he doesn't, hey, the team goes on.
  5. Couldn't disagree more. What'd be the point? To get rid of an undependable (or is it non?) and injury-proned pitcher who is trying to change positions on the staff. If he weren't a Cub but some FA off the street, would you want to sign him? probably not. but he's already signed, so your question is pointless. Why is that a pointless question? It gauges his value to us if he wasn't the former Kid K who many of us thought was the heir to Nolan Ryan. I would rather have a guy who is going to stay healthy and be decent than a guy who probably will get hurt (quickly) but has a chance to be excellent. It is pointless because they have to pay him either way. They can A) Pay him and have some small chance of him contributing positively. 2) Pay him and have no chance. Other than the 40-man roster spot, there is no difference in cost between the two options. As much as I'd hate to do it, if it turns out that Woody needs some significant time to heal his shoulder, we need to move on. Give him an injury settlement or whatever, but Wood and Prior are both distractions that we don't need anymore. Wood has now had three injuries in this camp alone, while Prior has had one good performance in four. Sometimes, as hard as it is to do, you have to move on. Except there's zero reason to do that with either. They don't cost much, and they've been set up where anything they contribute is a bonus. Getting rid of them for being "distractions" (for who, the fans? Who cares?) is, quite frankly, the most ridiculous reason I've seen for dumping them thus far.
  6. Marquis is going to be a nightmare this year.
  7. no way in hell thats going to happen if we are in the race I'd do it, especially if Prior is healthy and better by then and Hill is still doing great.
  8. SWEET CHRISTMAS. That was almost a crime what Floyd did to that ball.
  9. The radar gun was off. I don't think he actually topped 90.
  10. Only if you actually meant Kimmy Gibbler. Then you'd just be weird.
  11. Who's avatar? Seriously, how hard would it have been to crop that pic of yours around Lou's giant noggin? Yes, we know he managed Tampa Bay. I don't think the mysterious contours of his jacket/poncho/whatever are telling us anything new about his "intensity." So now we're critiquing my lazyness? I linked to that pic way back when we first got Lou. I didn't crop it or anything. Unlike my avatar which I did crop. But if we are critiquing the size. I don't even have the largest avatar in this thread, and the sig not by a longshot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/Navinda/davidpricedh2.jpg Hence my "giant sig pic, meet giant avatar" post.

  13. Giant sig pic, meet giant avatar.
  14. Hopefully at the expense of Marquis. We can dream.
  15. Ah, Izturius cut off Soriano's throw. Missed that.
