Yeah, our starting pitching hasn't been pitching like absolute crap for 4 innings. It's obviously not impossible to come back, but don't pretend like the Cubs weren't shoveling out tons of crap so far. Oh, hey, look...Zambrano gives out another hit...a double with no outs.

What about that other guys numbers, can you afford those numbers? Theriots satayed in th high270s/low 280s. not bad Derosa fluctuates between the high/mid 280s. not bad Jones has jumoped from the low 220s to the high 260s since the AS break. Kendalls hitting .303 since joining the Cubs. Ill take it. Thats pretty affordable. Lees plumeting a bit, and he does need to step up with RISP though. Hes basically in the same position as A Ram was last season, as the star of the team, but he cant get the jon done. Are you purposely avoiding his point? Your namesake has stunk since the ASB.

It's oddly soothing that it doesn't matter whether the top, middle or bottom of our lineup is up, the result is always the same. Oh, and way to take some walks. Jerks.
