  1. 3/5 Holy crap, I think my brain was apparently melting when I posted that.
  2. That's the game. Two thirds of our starting pitching rotation are heart attack inducing.
  3. That's a bit too broad. Soriano had plenty of cold streaks/slumps/whatever you want to call them during the two months the Cubs were dominating because he is and always has been a very streaky hitter. Yes, he's missed now, but his injury combined with Lee's slump and Aramis being hurt/out is the much larger issue. If the latter two weren't happening, or even just one of them was mashing, Soriano's absence wouldn't be nearly as obvious.
  4. QFT. The closer is not the most important reliever spot. Too often it would be a waste of Marmol or Howry/
  5. I know firsthand that Phil Nevin is not a Jerk. There must have been someone else in that article Supposedly he is around the press.
  6. Wear something sexy.
  7. That's gotta be a Web Gem...maybe #1. Cedeno's speed was incredible.
  8. That was an astounding play by Cedeno...dear God, he shows some amazing flashes of brilliance with that glove at times.
  9. Man, he does just keep climbing those stats.
  10. He still wasn't out! Look, I was frustrated with Barrett when he had trouble doing the same, I don't see why some of us shouldn't be frustrated with Kendall in that area, especially since his bat isn't nearly as good as Barrett's was for about 3 seasons.
  11. Yeah, let's totally ignore he didn't throw out his 21st base stealer. The guy is doing alright with the bat and it's cool, but I'm sick of other teams basically running at will on us...some of it is the pitchers, but a lot of it is our catchers.
  12. I fear the impending revolution of the serfs.
  13. I know they won big last night, but jeezum crow that's an ugly lineup.
  14. Where is that, Bizzaro-New York?
  15. It's really baffling. I went into this year thinking the Cubs were going to be mashing the ball like crazy, with Barrett being a big part of that. Whoops on both counts.
