If we weren't so hung up on dogs, same thing.
-
I've been too and lived in enough 3rd world countries to safely assume I have eaten quite a few dogs, and I declare them to be delicious. By that reasoning, I sanction all animal fighting so long as the animals taste awesome when served for dinner afterwards. I really hope elephants taste great cooked, because elephant fights would be badass.

SAY IT. -
I'd love to seem Dempster in a boadcasting role with the Cubs down the line, so long as he's only allowed to do the Harry impression once a month and for less than 90 seconds.

Dead horse time, but wow, what a typical Hendry-ism. Focus on specific moves and only those moves until they can be done and nothing else. Thank God Fukudome was signed or else Jim would have been just sitting around the off season doing next to nothing. YOU DON'T ONLY HAVE TO DEAL WITH ONE PLAYER AT A TIME AND NOTHING ELSE, JIMBO. 'K, thanks.

"Rummers?" Lousy bootleggers.

GEOVANY PETCO.

Isn't this an incredibly redundant statement? Who wouldn't be an "advocate" of such a thing? Well they were saying that Carlos Guillen couldnt play SS anymore cuz he was moved to 1B. And they brought up AROD being moved to 3B and making fun of me saying would I count him as a SS too? And I would! But he's not a SS right now, and hasn't been for years. That doesn't mean he can't still play it, but to consider him an active SS in any capacity is false.

Bickering. Any news would be added to the thread title, just like it's been done every time something was revealed before.
-
You're wrong about Greene. His away splits and comparisons between Petco and Wrigley show he clearly would be above average offensively. He's already well above average defensively.

Man, Roberts/Angelos/MacPhail have left devastation in their wake.

I don't know why one of the moderators doesn't end this thread. Reading posts where two people are arguing about something that doesn't have anything to do with the topic is ridiculous. The Cubs won't be acquiring Greene or Peralta. If the Roberts trade happens, he will bat leadoff, until then Soriano bats leadoff. It doesn't matter whether we agree or not, the only opinion that matters is Piniella's. How do you know he would bat leadoff?
-
No, that's completely wrong. I'm sorry, but that's just not realistic. Theriot ranks right near, if not at, the bottom.
-
And Greene's power and top shelf defense wouldn't make our team better?
-
Yeah, the Roberts arguers should explain that. If the big deal is having him get on before Lee and Ramirez, doesn't he still do that hitting #2?

I wish Comcast would start a "Cubs channel" where they could just replay a bunch of the games they've broadcast over the years. Tomorrow is like Xmas. -
Soriano at the top of the order didn't hurt the Cubs. A leadoff run scores whether or not the leadoff hitter hit a HR or he's hit in by someone else. The end result is the same.

Damn. That was a freudian slip as to who I wish knew more of. Mmmmmmmmmmm...Sulley, help me out here.

Thanks, guy who has had Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton as his avatars. Well, if you couldn't tell it was a joke....Theres also a big difference between saying " pee" jokes and having a an attractive woman as a avatar...I didnt know thinking women are hot would be immature... Paris Hilton and a woman famous solely for the size of her ass are the most mature things in the world. I'm sure you're having trouble deciding whether Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears will be next. Just because you don't think theyre attractive it makes me immature?? Look at David's avatar, and go on any other message board im sure you'll see tons of avatars of women..You sure are judgemental of people just by lookin at a freakin picture... I wasn't being judgemental. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of someone else who was. Calling out for people for making silly jokes while fawing over whorish socialists famous for having sex tapes doesn't really jive.

"Their Bruce?" Who does Levine belong to?

The end of Sammy?

that's like asking "if two people own the same car but one has 2 speeding tickets and the other doesn't, which is more likely to speed?" I think it's more like asking which one is more likely to mow down a crowd of people on purpose based on the speeding tickets. -
