... Am I missing something here? Was the baby story some kind of elaborate lie? The baby story is accurate. Aramis didn't want it out, for whatever reason. Two of three reporters covering the team respected that wish. One did not. Wow, somebody was a real jerk.

This is really the lineup? Considering how much better Johnson has done hitting lower and the order and with runners on (especially in scoring position) and how horrible he's been at leadoff AND that Lincecum is a rightie, this seems rather dumb.

He struck the first two guys out. Given his recent struggles, that's probably got him pumped up, so when he walks the next guy, he just wants to finish the next batter off and starts overthrowing and serves up some tasty meatballs. -

Lee has also been putting up very good numbers over that time. Getting Aramis and Johnson back on top of that is gonna be big. I'd rather have Soriano back than Johnson. Soriano, Edmonds, Fukudome. Well, yeah, obviously, but unless you have some secret sorcery that's going to make that happen way ahead of schedule, I'm looking optimistically at what the Cubs are actually getting back this week.
