  1. What the [expletive] is this garbage?
  2. Nice defensive play by Watson spoiled by a [expletive] OF call on Luol.
  3. Snazzy ball movement leads to a nice three. Liking that.
  4. How the hell did the Braves talk the Marlins into this?
  5. How many bench coaches come with the attention and push that Sandberg got in his attempt to become a manager AND his history as a player? It doesn't happen that often, and when it does it usually becomes a pain in the ass (see: Mattingly, Don.)
  6. Why are you so sure that he could? He has a ton of baggage coming with him now. Almost any manager is going to feel added pressure if their team does poorly if Sandberg is on the coaching staff due to the perception that he's trying his damndest to become a manager.
  7. Your assumption that everyone here wants Lee is wrong and smells like stale farts.
  8. Yeah and Tyler Thigpen has a better chance than probably any 3rd string QB would. If any other teams 3rd QB was in there, there would be almost 0 chance of a victory. But the Dolphins have a pretty good QB for 3rd string standards, and thus still have a chance to beat us. I was gonna talk about all the teams Thigpen beat when he was starting for the Chiefs and averaged 186 passing yards a game, and had an 18-12 TD-INT ratio, not to mention averaged 6.2 YPC and 3 rushing TDs, but I forgot that Chiefs team was beyond miserable. Despite that miserable team he did manage to lead the offense to 20 PPG in his 11 starts. You are arguing that I am saying that we're in trouble that we have to face Thigpen, when all I am arguing is that despite the Dolphins being on their 3rd string QB, that QB is capable of beating us if we aren't playing well. Meaning he's not going to go 5-16 with 4 INTs or whatever Todd Collins did. My guess is we do play well and beat him. I have read and considered what you have posted. I shall now respond: http://media.funlol.com/content/img/bear-dick-punch.jpg POINT: ME.
  9. Now that makes more sense. When you've made sulley look like the voice of reason here, well, you've veered off somewhere.
  10. Anybody technically could, but that's just ridiculous.
  11. The point is he's not completely useless. He's good enough to beat us if we aren't at our best. He's like Doug Flutie. Elusive white guy that can move the ball through the air and get some decent yardage on the ground if you don't watch him closely. He obviously isn't like a starter quality QB but he's probably better than half the teams backup QBs and can lead them to wins. Good Lord, I know you're always desperate to make posts about every single way your teams can lose, but come on.

  13. What the hell happened yesterday?
  14. [expletive], I [expletive] hate Wrigleyville. What a [expletive] shakedown.
  15. Aren't they losing on the revenue in the immediate future? Chicago needs that money NOW.
  16. Uh, yeah, [expletive] that noise. I love the Cubs, but this city is hard up for that cash.
  17. Also complicating things is that he's a very valuable player that the Cubs really, really need next year.
  18. That's a terrible trade for the Cubs.
  19. I'd settle for 2009. I'd settle for 2010 Adam Dunn. That's not how it works, man. Dunn is out of the Cubs budget, so Pena, Nick Johnson, et al., are now targets for Hendry. [expletive]. They could easily afford Dunn within the reduced budget if they wanted to.
  20. I'd settle for 2009. I'd settle for 2010 Adam Dunn.
  21. Why can't more rich and/or famous people give to charities? Do you have any grasp of where most charities and charitable donations come from?
