This is one of the weirder over-dramatic statements you've ever made. They allowed 7 scoring drives did they not? Kudos to them for keeping them out of the end zone until now, but how could you not call this a bad defensive performance overall? It wasn't a good job, but it wasn't "horrible." If Jay plays, the D is on the field less and we win by 15 at least. Considering the circumstances with Hanie turning the ball over and not staying on the field, they did alright. Right. 7 scoring drives allowed isn't good, but allowing only 18 points out of the first 6 (until, what, 4 minutes left in the 4th?) is more than enough to win. Whoa, what was that?
