Yeah, that's basically my take on it; looking at they've been able to do with McCown should be an endorsement of wanting to see it do even better with Cutler, not just stick with the backup. It is hard to see the offense playing any better than it did last night, regardless of who the quarterback is. I still think Cutler should be the starting quarterback, but I feel much better about moving on without him if they are unable to sign him. Well, last night is the screwy exception of playing a defense that's even worse than the Bears'; I'm talking more about the games leading up to it, unless people are thinking that last night was some kind of "beakthrough" for McCown.
