Rangers complete the sweep, though I missed the third period. Sharks win again. Total domination in the third period -- save for the one penalty they took late. 3-1 in favor of SJ going back to Nashville. Devils won in OT, tied the series at 2. Sabres beat New York to stretch the series lead to 3-1.

Tonight: Rangers go for the sweep (on Comcast Hockeylive) over the Thrashers at 7 EST. Hedberg gets the start in net for the Thrashers. Tampa Bay looks to take a commanding lead in their series against New Jersey at 7 EST. Buffalo also is looking to take a commanding lead in their series against the Islanders at 7:30. It's on Versus. San Jose and Nashville lock horns in the only western game of the day. This one starts at 10 and is on Versus.

yeah, that's a lineup built around toughness. pretty surprised that they're dressing george parros AND brad may AND travis moen. that's odd for the playoffs. i like that lemaire isn't backing down and is dressing boogie man though.

Rangers win 7-0, go up 3-0 in the series Nylander hat trick Callahan with 2 goals Jagr with 4 assists Avery and Kovalchuk got in a fight with about 16 minutes left, they each received 17 minutes in penalties. That's a pretty sweet deal for the Rangers. Sens won, go up 3-1 in the series

today is the game three for SJ/Nashville, TB/NJ, and NYI/Buffalo. I hope the sharks game has OT or something since I'll end up missing most of it... I'll be able to watch a good portion of the first two games though.

The WILD are killing me. I really thought it would be different in St. Paul. As a Canucks fan I was more afraid of facing the Wild than any other team in the West. I'd be very happy to see them go. yeah, the wild and sharks really impressed me going down the stretch. i'm shocked to see them doing this poorly. they're down 3-0 in the series now. they did finally score with 30 seconds left, though. nucks/stars scoreless through one, the game started on time too.

except for 1 period in game 2, Ottawa has pretty much entirely dominated the series. They won 4-2 today, and lead in the series 2-1. Lots of hard hitting, including the aforementioned hit on Eaves. Wild trail again to the Ducks, 1-0 at the end of 1...come on Minny...do something...

I heard the Canucks game might get delayed to 7 or 7:30 because there might not be enough time to set up the rink due to the Mavericks game. yeah, I heard that as well. the ice in dallas should be great tonight ](*,)

Eaves got obliterated on a clean hit by Colby Armstrong.

The Red Wings totally dominate the Flames for a second straight game. Miikka Kiprusoff stood on his head and was essentially the only Calgary player that showed up. Ottawa/Pittsburgh starts in about 30 minutes.

Yeah, I want the Lightning to win because the Devils play boring hockey. I also don't like Brodeur. Flames/Wings is on in about 2 hours, maybe a little less than that. Sens/Pens is on Versus at 3 in the good time zone (6 EST) Ducks/Wild is on at 5 and the late game is Nucks/Stars which is on at 6:30.

How often are the games being shown on Yahoo? I would like to watch more than one game a week on NBC. Especially considering the 4OT game having happened on one of the many days I cannot watch. yahoo and comcast are combining to show about a game a day. Here's the current schedule

Devils and Lightning tied at 2. Holmqvist looks much better so far. The Sabres are entertaining to watch when they're clicking. Dipietro has been outstanding in net, though.

actually, i have the free preview of MLB Extra Innings, and the channels for MLBEI and NHLCI run together, so I'm just taking advantage of that until tomorrow. Lightning/Devils is streaming live on Yahoo in 20 minutes.
