  1. Uhhh, why can't Bradley lead off?
  2. banevertra
  3. Depends on what we give up, of course. But I like Lowe. And I'd love to have Bradley. I wish it would have given a rumor on an offer or a logical offer though other than saying we have interest.
  4. They can get a lot more (prospect-wise) for him, that's why.
  5. LOL, yes, I saw that too and told him there was no reason to spy. :D Hey! I knew that pic looked familiar. I'm WinnieThePujols over there. Glad to know this is you, too! :D While I'm sure using that tag is a common play on his name, I have to ask...gamefaqs?
  6. Well, this topic beat mine. I wonder when/if mine will show up. Anyways, Hendry set the market, but I'm glad he didn't do it with the likes of Wagner or Gordon.
  7. I would love to see Pierre AND Furcal, but not just Pierre. That way, Furcal is insurance if Pierre flops. If Pierre flops, we're not any better than last year.
  8. Actually, I thought he declined the OF and that's why we didn't re-sign him immediately? I might be wrong though.
  9. that's pretty funny
  10. Meh, I tried to make a topic too. I made the topic on the Orioles/Mets trade about 45 minutes before it appeared
  11. Well, you listed 5 starters... Anyways, assuming we trade Williams, let Hill try for the 5th spot. Sign Morris or Millwood or Weaver or trade for someone. There's not a shortage of options. And plus, you're assuming Wood's health, which I'll put stock in when he proves he should get it.
  12. Mets would get Jorge Julio and the Orioles would get Kris Benson (and Anna too) msgnetwork.com had it up on their site, but it has since been pulled down. mlbtraderumors.com lists 3 sources, but I didn't see anything official on any of them. Anyways, I think the Orioles win for Anna alone.
  13. If wood goes to the pen with a contract restructured that actually makes sense for a setup guy then i don't trade him. I would trade him now if at all possible though.
  14. I thought another one of the ideas behind trading any of their OFs was to clear room in the outfield.
  15. Can't say I'm surprised. His value probably even is down a little bit after that terrific performance in the playoffs.
  16. I would be very pleased by signing Washburn. I know he's intrigued by the Brewers because he lives near there. We're not that far from Milwaukee.
  17. I'm sure he'd be a great fit wherever he goes. That being said, I've never liked him that much. Out of the A's big three, he was the one I always figured would get hammered.
  18. A poor BA in the 5 hole isn't a problem, it's his awful everything else that's the problem. I actually do think we'll get Pierre, but not Soriano. We still might get Mench.
  19. I really don't see the Mets trading Floyd. Abreu or Dunn = mmm mmm good
  20. I don't mind Soriano if both of these things were true: A) Dusty Baker wasn't our manager B) We had two decent to good OBP guys at the top of the order Those two things don't exactly work together. If we get Soriano and Pierre or Soriano and Furcal, there's no way Dusty doesn't bat him second, unfortunately.
