    Just got a text message from my Hooter girl source. Len can't comment...he's working on another plate of wings. He did say Hendry is there too...is now shirtless and banging two plates together while shouting "I love Hooters!" Wow its a good thing I kept reading and didnt stop because at first I was thinking Vance had completly lost it. :D :wink: lol

    I don't think he's going to go, especially if he limited it to the Cubs and Dodgers. If the Braves were still in it, I'd be worried.

    It is certainly not much of a drop, I don't have the stats in front of me but i'm pretty certain Walker gets on base at a better clip than Soriano and their defense is probably equal. Walker gets on at a significantly better clip than Soriano and I would argue that his defense is slightly better, though Soriano probably has better range. The power is a drop off, but Walker's isn't bad. Walker also hits for a higher average by quite a fair margin.

    This deal makes sense as I'm sure all of them are on the block (though Wood is questionable). The lack of Patterson in the deal is a bit surprising though.

    Mueller doesn't want to play 2B, I think. He said that recently after an offer from the Cardinals to play 2B, IIRC.

    meh, he hit at 77% last year, which is tolerable, I guess. If Furcal or Walker bats right behind him, then I'd be happy with him. Preferrably Furcal.
