    I hate the fact that we've had two days off and two games already. Ugh.

    It's between that and Sammy's Game 1 blast, but it's impossible for me to pick. I went apes**t when Sammy hit that thing. I was jumping up and down and my hand hit the ceiling fan. That was unreal.

    Going to LA to see a hockey game, so no, unfortunately. I'll catch the game on Wednesday though.

    those rotations are bad. i think we're going to have to agree to disagree, b/c those rotations are terrible (unless guzman experiences NO growing pains and is able to throw 180 injury free innings). the cubs lost 83 last year w/ prior and wood making 37 starts. if they make ZERO this year, i don't see how the cubs' worst case scenario for them in 2006 can be losing 83 again. jones, eyre, pierre, and howry aren't big enough upgrades to counter the loss of 37 starts from two great starting pitchers. Yeah, but they're upgrades. I don't know how this team is worse than last year in any likely scenario.

    But he is a very bad manager and tends to make calls that don't work out. It's not if we know if our idea will work, it's that he makes glaringly stupid mistakes (Neifi at the top of the order) all the time.

    Wood wasn't having serious serious arm problems that caused him to miss a lot of time after the TJS. He had 130 innings after returning in 2000, 174 in 2001, and 213 in 2002. Since then, his inning totals have steadily declined.

    Basketball sucks only if you're a communist I believe personal attacks are against board rules. I have my personal opinion about basketball and you have yours, that doesn't mean you have the right to start calling me names. This is a baseball website last time I checked. take basketball somewhere else. I thought it was clearly obvious that it was meant as a joke, and not a personal attack. You would think that, you smelly pirate hooker. :lol:
