The pirates are by no stretch of the imagination good...but am I the only one that sees them crawling out of the cellar this year and maybe even reaching lower mediocrity? I had them 4th in the Central this year, but I'm thinking they might not be that good.

Yesterday I hated that lineup. Today, no changes except Murton for Fukudome and I now love the lineup - and Murton really isn't a big part of it. Weird. Murton in LF and DeRo in RF, by the way.

A couple of intriguing options here with Carolina's pick. Jeff King played tight end last season and didn't show the ability to be the long-term solution at the position. Carolina has the opportunity to draft a receiving TE here that ripped up the combine and has all the ability necessary to fill that spot. Therefore the Panthers take Dustin Keller from Purdue.

I'd prefer Mark Jackson for the Bulls (although he's probably headed to NY). Avery would be intriguing, though.

As someone pointed out in today's game thread, Lou said he was going with the same lineup tomorrow. So as much sense as it may make to get Murton in or get Theriot/Cedeno out, it ain't happening.
