Was this his 1st start off the DL? Along with being his first start of the year. Looks like this mights not be it for Gallardo either. He just batted in the top of the 8th... Awesome I can't really express how great it is that Ned Yost manages the next-best team in the division.

The pirates are by no stretch of the imagination good...but am I the only one that sees them crawling out of the cellar this year and maybe even reaching lower mediocrity? I had them 4th in the Central this year, but I'm thinking they might not be that good.

Yesterday I hated that lineup. Today, no changes except Murton for Fukudome and I now love the lineup - and Murton really isn't a big part of it. Weird. Murton in LF and DeRo in RF, by the way.

There's almost no way Arizona doesn't win the pennant if you ask me - and I was saying that before the season too. I just hope we manage to duck them if we make it to the playoffs.
