    Funny how Lou was complaining about how he couldn't move Fukudome to the 2 spot with Reed Johnson in the lineup. I wonder what his excuse is now that he's got Edmonds? Theriot's OBP is nearly .050 higher than Kosuke's in May so far.

    If it makes it easier, you could treat Edmonds like all the MLB video games treat Bonds. Make up a hilarious fake name with the same number (I believe MLB games referred to Bonds as Reggie Stocker). MVP Baseball called him Jon Dowd.

    Cedeno 2nd and at SS, eh? Good to see Riot get a day off - for all the Cubs' talk of 'he broke down at the end of the season' they didn't seem very concerned with playing him too much to this point.

    It is mind-boggling. You'd think I'd get used to it, but there is simply no explanation, and it gets more ridiculous every year. By 2010 I firmly expect I will be hitting in the high .300s with 15 homers by mid-May for the Cardinals.

    Ludwick must have joined Skip Schumaker on those offseason workouts with Mark McGwire. I can't believe more isn't being made of that, especially in light of those two both going insane. I really, really hate the Cardinals.

    I will miss both today and tomorrow's games because I'm going to Indy to watch my cousin play for the WNBA's Indiana Fever - she just got picked up. (Really, I'm going because I am going to buy my aunt and uncle's car, but ostensibly I'm going for the first reason)

    I hate when teams make up injuries to get someone off the roster. Same goes for the Red Sox and Buchholtz. He cut his hand beating up on a TV after the game yesterday. Is that true? Because if so, that's outstanding. He slapped a television? Hahahahahahahaha
