I love jersey shirts. They're more practical than jerseys, and for 20-25 bucks they're pretty decent value as it relates to players' Cubs careers. I've been buying them for four years and the only ones I've 'lost' are Barrett and Nomar (the latter not being so smart on my part). Currently I have Soto, DeRosa, Zambrano, Soriano, Lee and Ramirez shirts. You should get Soto or Z.

There is no reason why anyone should be interested in trading for Kyle Lohse. He will revert to his horribleness as soon as he leaves St. Louis...it's a mortal lock. -

Carlos Zambrano has been so good at times this year that it's hard to believe he isn't really being talked about any more than usual. He's been kind of unbelievable. We waited years to see Z figure out that throwing fewer balls would mean a jump up in production, and the results were possibly even better than we could've hoped. I think he will win the Cy Young this season.

I can't say anything bad about the big 10 because I just heard a rumor we might be going there. seriously? Just from some boosters with some knowledge about the school...a heck of a lot more than I have. The academic and sports seem to match up well and this might also be a go to heck (from Big 10 people) to ND from what I've heard. Boy, that would teach us, all right. no, having all big ten teams refuse to schedule ND would teach them, however Well, ND and Michigan are contracted to play until 2031, so that's out. In my opinion, if ND stopped playing the Big Ten, good riddance. how would you fill the other half of your schedule? You mean 3 games, and somehow I think there are other teams besides the 8 or 9 that currently play us yearly that wouldn't mind it too much. oh, im sure lots of teams wouldn't mind playing notre dame every year. can never use too many wins. I'm sure that's what the Sooners figured would happen when they came to the stadium in 1999 to face a crappy ND team that went 5-7 that year. Actually in all seriousness I think they're scheduled to play each other again in like 7 years or something. So that should be fun at least.

Shark was up at the end of last inning He shouldn't pitch, there is no reason why Eyre can't finish this out but whatever. or marshall or someone who doesn't pitch much. if you're not gonna use back of the bullpen guys with a 6 run lead then what's the point of even having them on the team? BOOOOO BADGERS It's not our fault every single one of your sports programs have gone downhill, except wrestling. Correct but it is your fault that you have the most annoying fan base in the Big Ten. Well, top 3 anyways. Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State are worse. Michigan State and Purdue can't be any better than Wisconsin either. So basically every big ten team's fanbase besides Iowa (cuz they suck), Northwestern (because they aren't really in the big ten), Indiana (because they suck), and Minnesota (because they suck) are awful? :wink: Well...yeah, pretty much. :)

The fact that you can here loud cheers for the Cubs in places like Colorado or San Diego is pretty impressive. Atlanta too. That's always stuck out to me.

Whoa, look at all that hair. When was that? Probably 2005, I believe that was Hardy's 1st year in the majors and I don't think Z has had that long of hair in a long time.
