The schedule's really not getting a hell of a lot easier, either. 6-10 is my prediction barring some sort of miraculous turnaround/blockbuster trade for a competent offensive player.

How many QBs could we have had the last two offseasons? How many? And yet we stuck with Jake. And now we ARE stuck with Jake. And doomed to a horrible season because of it. Next time, draft the damn quarterback or trade for the damn quarterback.

He should have yelled before the snap that he was going to throw to Smith just to make it even more obvious than it was. Still would've completed it if Smith hadn't been a [expletive] idiot and cut off his route for no apparent reason.

Armando Allen is expected to be back and 100 percent for the Washington game. Jimmy Clausen is expected to play as well - Charlie didn't say whether Dayne Crist would see as much of the field, but I'd assume Jimmy will be much closer to full speed. Jimmy will get the entire bye week off to heal up completely. The game comes down to Jake Locker, really. We simply can't let him beat us. Our offense can't beat themselves like USC did. ND should win, but it will be a close game. Ball State is going to get clocked on Homecoming weekend by Toledo, but at least Kelly Page has a pulse at QB.

Yea Im hoping he takes over for Lovie Smith whenever Lovie is fired/leaves. I can't tell whether you guys don't like him or do like him. Im not sure what the hard part is about figuring out how we feel about Singletary. An ex-Bears LB is turning a garbage team into a division-title favorite. This is at least as difficult as a Sherlock Holmes novel to comprehend.

his pass protection is unreal I pray to the Football Gods almost every week that I will ever root for a team with a line as good as the Colts' has been for about the last decade straight and especially the last 6 years.

What do you mean? Iowa dropped out of the top 25 after week 1 for winning a nail biter. ND's dropped from 38 votes to 7 after two straight wins. Mizzou dropped from the Top 25 after a win. There are reams of examples of teams dropping after wins, especially in the early weeks.

Hahahahaha, I love watching you freakout about brady quinn... he's gone man, he's gone. This isn't even about Quinn anymore, he was just the impetus - this organization is pathetic. They should be thanking God Al Davis is around to distract NFL fans from how horribly run they are. Brady Quinn's not very good either. As always, my point is completely missed or ignored.
