    Even if they did mean it there's really no reason to mention it at all. Yeah, I'm not sure what they gain from saying that, especially since 80+ percent of the people who pay any attention rightly believe that that's a load of crap.

    He didn't start yesterday against a lefty. I don't have a problem with starting Johnson, though I do wish we'd give Fukudome more of a chance against lefties here and there.

    I admit to being entertained that basically the second Chris Carpenter stopped being a superace, here comes some guy named Jaime Garcia who instantly becomes one. Do they always have to have at least 1-2 starting pitchers with ERAs hovering around or below 2.00? This bothers me much more when I pay money to watch it happen in person.

    Completely off topic, but the Big 12 is going to change its name, isn't it? I mean, we can't possibly go a college football season with a 12-team conference named Ten and a 10-team conference named 12, can we?

    Again, I'm criticizing the fact that he's making the shots at such an innefficient rate go ahead and take 28 shots if youre going to make like 13 of them. but he's not. not criticizing his style of play, criticizing the fact that it's been brick city for him in the postseason. but hey, he's D-ROSE Obviously he isn't shooting well and no one here is happy with it. But what else can the team do but ride it out?

    Carleton Scott staying in the NBA draft. A dumbfounding move, but good luck to him.

    If no one is going to step up, and Korver is going to be ice cold, Rose is the best offense the Bulls have, even if he isn't shooting well. That speaks more to how one-dimensional the Bulls' offense is than anything. Rose can't make the other guys want the ball. I don't want Rose to shoot 32 times either, but I also don't want guys who clearly have no interest in taking a big shot to shoot.

    I along with many others felt that as soon as Pena got 1 homer he was going to get a bunch of them.

    That's the D-Rose we've been waiting to see the whole playoffs.

    I think OKC/Miami would be a tremendous series, but that's the only remaining team in the West that I think could beat them, assuming the Lakers don't come back and advance.

    Me too. I doubt he will - rumor is he's working on an extension with ND and was before this happened.

    If Boozer is this hurt, he needs to be sitting. He needs to heal up, and Gibson is better than he is right now anyway.

    Nessler and Sean McDonough are my two favorite college football play by play guys in some order. Nessler will be good on those games, although I like him better on college games.

    He also needs to quit playing like an idiot. I'm tired of seeing Rose try to fire passes in between 3 people to guys like Boozer and Noah who don't have the best hands in the world. His attempt to spin-move around Teague at the end of the 3rd rather than just dribble past him as he easily could have was completely ridiculous.

    Luol Deng can create his own shot. He can't do it as well as the elite guys, but he can. He's been quietly very solid in these playoffs. If Rose is going to take 27 shots a game, he'd better make damn sure 15+ of them aren't from outside 15 feet like he's doing now. If he's worried about the ankle, he needs to be a facilitator for Noah, Boozer, Gibson, etc.

    I actually think Korver needs to be out there basically whenever CJ is out there. He should obviously also be out there late in close games. But I think CJ is a lot better off with Korver out there as something of a security blanket.

    Man, I am so [expletive] tired of forfeiting once a week by throwing this POS out there.

    Good luck to Joe Johnson ever hitting that many contested jumpers in a game again. Bulls had better come alive for Game 2.
