    Don't know crap about him other than he's a big white guy, but more size is never bad, especially for ND.

    Although it should be noted that whoever taught Hansbrough to flail his limbs wildly every time he goes up for a contested shot should probably be hired by a slew of prospective pros. The move seems to work more than it doesn't.

    Calling Noah a dirty player while McRoberts committed like 6 dirty fouls this series and Hansbrough and Hibbert spent 5 games trying to outflop each other is what you'd expect an 8 seed who just got eliminated to do. I'd rather concern myself with Atlanta or Orlando.

    Seems like Rose hasn't been able to get a judgment call in his favor since Vogel whined after Game 1.

    I'd rather face ATL after 5 than ORL after 7. For once we agree. Exhausted opponents are great, but dealing with a Horford/Pachulia front line as opposed to Dwight Howard (not that Horford is garbage or anything) sounds good to me.

    Another Elias nugget: The Cubs are the first team ever to hit the .500 mark at every stop through the first 20 games (1-1 through 10-10).

    That was a hideous play, but Boozer actually had a good look at it. The fast-break block by Collison (along with Rose not leaving it for Boozer like I thought he should have) is what saved the game. Just take Game 5, please.

    Rose not leaving that fast-break attempt for Boozer is probably what will save the game for Indiana.

    Brandon Phillips is thoroughly entertaining. I'm all for anyone stirring things up a bit, even if he is a troll.

    No commentary on Josh McRoberts's blatant dirty elbow on Rose after Rose dunked? I was livid.

    whats the point of even giving him flagrants? It's a slap on the wrist. You can get suspended in the playoffs if you earn too many flagrant foul points. Fat lot of good that does towards Indiana, who won't be in the playoffs long enough for Foster to earn said points. I'm excited for this one. Get the brooms, Bulls, even if it means yet another ugly game.

    Coleman nibbling on Billingsley - twice - while Billingsley did nothing but plug 3 fastballs at 65 percent effort past Jeff Stevens in his AB. That's my pick for "most annoying part of this game". I HATE when we waste pitches trying to nibble against the other pitcher.

    No team can claim to have the best fans. Every team has its share of intelligent, respectable fans as well as its share of obnoxious moron fans. Yes, and the teams with the most fans, it stands to reason, have the most jackassical fans as well, which is why so many of the most popular sports teams in this country have the most-loathed fans.

    That 2nd quarter was an officiating apocalypse. I'm not going to start hating Indiana like I inevitably end up hating every other Bulls playoff opponent, but they certainly have been a nuisance. Which, frankly, is a credit to them, because if an 8 or 7 seed can be a nuisance, they're doing about all they can do. Tyler Hansbrough certainly is reminding me why I [expletive] hated him in college though with his limbs all flailing wildly in desperate efforts to draw a foul just about every time he touches the ball. And it seems like Josh McRoberts and Roy Hibbert are playing that game too. Anyway, Indiana's been more than up to the task. Pacer fans should be excited for the next season that is played in the NBA.

    I know it isn't. Making money is the point of the playoffs. I'm just saying I don't like seeing wild-card teams get to play for a title every other year just because Bud is desperate to make sure the Yankees and Red Sox are always both in the playoffs. It would also give smaller market teams a chance as well. Look at last season. Yes it would let the Sox in, but the Padres would have gone in on the NL side. I'm not saying I wouldn't watch or anything. I just like the fact that there's still one sport in which making the playoffs is a real accomplishment rather than something nearly (or more than) half the rest of the league also 'accomplished'. It won't be the same if baseball goes the way of the NBA and turns the entire season into a playoff audition for most of the teams.

    Because the 30-game college basketball season played between over 320 D-I teams is the exact same as a 162-game baseball season played between 30 teams. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

    I don't want more playoff teams. We already have too many instances of the World Series not matching the best team in each league.

    Tampa Bay is 'hosting' the London game for the 2nd time in 3 years. That's pretty crappy for them.

    Panthers may or may not retain DeAngelo Williams, and it's starting to look like it won't happen. Either way, it's time for a RB. Carolina has a decent defense, so they won't mind loading up on offensive players here. Ryan Williams, RB, Va Tech is the pick.

    Well, the Pacers are sure up to the task. Thank God Kyle Korver keeps getting open in the last couple minutes of games.

    He had been fine apart from outings where he was left in way too long before today. Bad outings will happen against the Rockies' offense, and the others were basically Quade's fault.
