  1. Damn Feldman hit the [expletive] out of that.
  2. It's a huge part of the reason I hate listening to him. Actually, it's pretty much the entire reason.
  3. Maybe Fox will get involved. They could put Cubs games on WPWR or even split them between WFLD and WPWR. It's so weird to even think of a local OTA station other than WGN (and WCIU - I guess) airing games. Do other teams even have local OTA deals anymore or are most teams 100% cable? The Mets and Yankees occasionally play games on 9 and 11, owned by Fox and Tribune, respectively. The Dodgers play games on KCAL and I think the Phillies air some games (usually Sundays) on a local station as well. I'm pretty sure STL used to do the same thing but I don't believe they do anymore.
  4. There's been increasing chatter about changing the Redskins' name, but I doubt that's it.
  5. As for the TV stuff, who do we expect will pay for WGN's games if WGN doesn't? Would it be a full CSN schedule?
  6. The jumbotron actually doesn't look terrible. Having it sort of visually blend in with the green frame would be nice.
  7. Yeah, there are six game spaces for each league and if everyone is playing that leaves three games off the board.
  8. Yeah, when the weather is nice like this Wrigley night games are the best. Day games are great too, but it can just get way too hot some days.
  9. Kevin Gregg has had enough of your [expletive]
  10. Cody Ransom is gunning for Gritty McGritterson status on the team with his recent play.
  11. Does it? "History" in this case means "I pulled it out of my ass but I feel like it's true". Let me actually look it up. ETA: Hey, I was actually right for once. From a NY Post article on tonight's game:
  12. When did Gerald Wallace remember how to shoot? Was hoping the Bulls could get this one, but history shows the home team pretty much always win the game down 3-1.
  13. Oh, good, more ridiculous 'flagrant foul' calls. I thought we'd seen enough of that in the NCAA tournament.
  14. It still pisses me off several times a week that that garbage organization has 2 World Series titles in the last 16 years.
  15. Outstanding.
  16. I don't know, in 2007 I recall him being spectacularly good at stranding inherited runners. Nice play Castro! But Stanton was definitely safe.
  17. Apparently the Chiefs are willing to pay Dayne Crist to play football. Or at least invite him to rookie camp.
  18. I really like Boyd actually. Not like #1 overall pick like, but I think he's got a good chance to be a solid pro.
  19. For sneaky, Craig Roh to Carolina. For me, Mike Golic Jr to Pittsburgh and Braxston Cave to Cleveland. ETA: Cierre Wood to Houston.
  20. Schierholtz has been a really nice addition.
  21. This Valbuena kid can play this game a bit.
