  1. No, he doesn't flop. He said so. What a bitch
  2. Here's where the Heat go nuts for the 4th quarter and reveal they were just screwing around for the first 36 minutes.
  3. Refs calling an awful lot of fouls on Miami tonight. I'll take it.
  4. I disagree. There is still value in day baseball, played under the sun, value that contributes to the brand of the Cubs. They have some sort of sentimental that can't be quantified, but more night games have real, positive, quantifiable value on the bottom line. If the difference between 35 and 46 night games in our TV deal is the difference between the Cubs having and not having enough money to spend to field a contender, we have bigger problems than we thought IMO.
  5. Some silly baserunning from Colorado tonight
  6. Ah, so it's 'get shut down by a crappy soft-tossing lefty' night.
  7. Depends on your definition, but I'm pretty sure we haven't had a starter give up more than 5 runs.
  8. Whoa, Soriano hasn't gunned someone like that from LF in a while.
  9. But supposedly they want to extend Garza.
  10. This is the Bulls' fan playoff thread, not the "everyone respect how great the Heat are" thread. We all know the Heat are great. I'm not sure why people ITT feel like it needs to be pointed out every 10 posts.
  11. He's been even better than I thought he'd be. An excellent pickup
  12. Norris Cole can DIAF. [expletive]'s never going to do anything in his life like this series.
  13. They have nothing left. To be honest this is what I expected in Game 1. Thibs and the team deserve enormous credit for stretching it two gutty performances farther after the Nets series.
  14. That last OOB was off Chalmers, but whatever
  15. One team hits open shots, the other doesn't. Pretty simple.
  16. That's what I love about these types of deals for us. He could literally become crippled tomorrow and we're just writing off 6 mil a year. But if he were crippled before he signed the deal we wouldn't have to write off anything. Damn it, I don't know if we thought this through...
  17. I can only assume these will go away with the next TV deal right? Unless WGN were to somehow re-up, then yeah.
  18. I searched "rizzo cubs jersey" on eBay last night and there were jerseys floating around for 90 bucks, which I thought was pretty good.
  19. Haha, I'm not against any of the possible moves, but I had a chuckle at the Pineda/Montero comparison since that deal has been one of the most colossal lose/lose trades (so far anyway) in recent memory.
  20. Is Wilson GDubCub in disguise?
  21. Babcock coaching circles around Boudreau, although I guess that's not a surprise
  22. No no-trade clause in the Rizzo deal. "It's a horrible contract without a no-trade!!" - Hendry
  23. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/chicago-cubs-sign-anthony-rizzo-to-long-term-extension-jed-hoyer-theo-epstein-051213 Deal includes 2 club option years for '20 and '21 and potentially could go as high as 73M with performance incentives.
