I've followed otis89 over from Baseball Fever... I have been bashing the White Sox all year because I have two obnoxious buddies who are White Sox fans and they would never let me hear the end of it if the Sox won. I'm already catching flak from them for the Cubs missing the playoffs, even though we split the six crosstown games this season. In truth I still think the Sox were the luckiest team in baseball, having suffered only two major injuries and having their pitchers play the way they did. And yet now the playoffs have started, I don't seem to have as much hatred for them. I still would prefer they don't win a World Series, but the fact that I don't want to see another obnoxious Red Sox celebration, another title for the soul-sucking Yankees, or a title for the ridiculously overachieving Cardinals has also jumped in. Basically, let's just get a Braves-Angels series in here so I can watch without ardently rooting against one of the teams.
