  1. What in the heck just happened over the last five seconds???
  2. Clock didn't stop after UW made a shot.
  3. That was an...interesting no-call.
  4. I hate you, TT. In six years of picking brackets, I've never seen my champion reach the Final 4...that streak could end if UConn can win this. Rashad Anderson is the new Deron Williams.
  5. HOLY CRAP OVERTIME
  6. Great, great play by Williams. It isn't over yet despite how terrible UConn has played.
  7. Williams burns 13 seconds off the clock before he fouls. What an undisciplined team.
  8. Exactly what went through my head. And another turnover. The only team that can beat UConn is UConn, and they're doing their level best to do so and in the process punch UW's ticket to Indy.
  9. I will go to my grave wondering why teams insist on tossing up a 3 every time they are down 2 late in the game. Florida's going to win.
  10. i dont know about ryan, but at least for me, it wouldn't be any consolation if they were losing. I think ND is just mad because it's ruining his bracket. I knew someone would pick it up. :P I have UConn winning it all, so... I'd also like to see the Big East represent a little bit by getting 3 Elite 8 teams. (They should have 4  )
  11. Bulls win 96-82, led by Gordon's 25, Deng's 17 and 7 and Chandler's 21 boards. I think we have a new starting lineup. The Philly loss puts the Bulls within 2.5 of the 8th seed.
  12. A mini-run puts the Bulls up 81-75 with 5 minutes to play. Gordon has 22 and (ironically) has probably earned himself a seat on the bench for the foreseeable future because of his strong play today off the bench.
  13. I too had GMU beating MSU in round 1, but I expected UNC to stomp them in round 2. Go UConn and Georgetown!
  14. <-------- exhales Nova wins.
  15. Wow, Lowry just plain bricks the free throw and BC will have a chance to win. Thanks a lot buddy.
  16. The Bulls lead the Hornets 44-42 in the 2nd after an abominable start. Gordon and Chandler have been replaced in the lineup by Duhon and Sweetney, and Nocioni steps in for the injured Malik Allen. Skiles said as the rationale that Gordon and Chandler did their best work off the bench last season.
  17. I have never see someone get higher than Williams just did blocking that 3-pointer. Wow. Overtime.
  18. Nova up 3 with 40 seconds left. This would be a major coup for me if the Cats can hold on.
  19. Good to see Nova reel off a 12-1 run after that abominable start. And Go Mason. :)
  20. I'm not sure what to make of this idea. On the one hand, Barry definitely deserves to have his records expunged, but on the other hand, so do other steroid users who we don't know about yet and possibly never will. It wouldn't be acceptable to chase one guy in particular when there are dozens who are guilty. In my opinion, baseball built this mountain for themselves and now they're going to have a heck of a time climbing it.
  21. This is pointless as Maddux has all but held a press conference to openly state that he has no desire to be a manager or coach after he is done. If he WERE to be interested, I'd love to have him as pitching coach.
  22. Completely false. Bonds LOVES getting media attention - just not when he gets caught cheating and breaking the law.
  23. Given what we know about the brain inside Sammy's (not really that large) head, and given the sheer volume of other people who have been caught or had large amounts of circumstantial evidence presented against them, and given that no one other than bitter columnists, bitter ex-Cubs, and witch-hunters looking to convict anyone who gains some muscle during their prime, I am finding it harder and harder to believe Sammy used steroids. I mean, seriously, I don't think anyone would argue that Sammy Sosa is the most intelligent guy on the planet - so how does he dodge ALL the circumstantial evidence when generally intelligent people such as Barry Bonds get all this dirt on them? I just feel like I need more than muscle growth and refusing to submit to a witch hunt at Congress to convict Sammy, especially considering that there's no way of knowing if he would have been able to put on muscle at a younger age had he grown up in the U.S. In other news: Grace is still a bitter whining douchebag. Mark and many others need to learn that retiring does not mean you have creative license to attack anyone you feel like attacking. Shut up and have some respect for people, even if you don't necessarily like them. (And I agree with whoever noted that Grace played with Sammy for YEARS, including the first three of his home run binge, and yet he can offer up no new evidence.)
