    Blurb about Lee in the ESPN Rumor Central. Does this guy really consider Lee to be a superior hitter to JD Drew and Barry Bonds? Wow. It's ESPN. What do you expect? I expect them to anoint Bonds their new god, which makes this even more surprising.

    Here's something I don't think has been brought up: What if the Cubs get Dave Roberts for CF, lead him off, and bat Fonzie 2nd? I know it's unorthodox and I know Soriano doesn't have the OBP of, say, Murton, but can you imagine sending up Soriano, Lee and Ramirez back to back every day? I'd imagine he'd have no problem finding pitches to hit, which would fit into his free-swinging philosophy.

    I disagree. I think if Arkansas runs the table in the SEC (or Florida wins the SEC title) they should go in over USC. Yes, Arkansas lost to USC, I know, but the SEC is a better conference that the Pac-10 and USC lost to an unranked team. I don't think the difference is near enough to make up for the fact that USC went to Arkansas and kicked the crap out of them. Same thing for ND/Michigan. Exactly. If this same argument was being made for ND/Michigan (assuming Michigan had hypothetically lost to an unranked team of course) people would be blowing their stacks in defense of the Wolverines. If USC wins out, they should go. If Florida wins out, I'd say they should go. If Arkansas win out and USC doesn't, they should go. If none of those happen then UM can play the rematch.

    ! I drank a lot of that stuff at a concert in Milwaukee this summer. This is the only other time besides then that I have ever heard the stuff mentioned! It's second only to Indio. Which is hard to get considering it is mexican and isn't imported. I live in San Antonio and its tough to get. I really dont like going down to Laredo and getting shot to get some. People drink sShiner all the time here (New Mexico). Has anyone here had Arrogant Bastard Ale, or any other Stone brews? Now that's a MAN's beer. Everybody I know who's ever had this thinks it's the best thing ever. Of course, it's beer, so I'd rather drink my own urine, personally. Patches O'Houlihan
