Emery's handing out contracts is bad any way you cut it. Houston, Cutler, Allen, Jennings, Marshall (debatable) just the ones that immediately come to mind. Willie Young was surprising, Martellus is the lone bright spot for me. He was an excellent signing when you consider the black hole of talent at TE since Olsen was traded. I liked Emery's philosophy and the method he seemingly went about his business, but the actual picks he made and guys he signed just weren't good. As for Pace, the early results at the risk of being premature are not good. I definitely want to give him more time though.
