  1. Whatever the hell that is. The Bulls aren't staying static; Butler is trending in the right direction. Mirotic is trending in the right direction. Broken record that it is, Rose showed that if he can stay healthy he's still a weapon. That's a tremendous core to have, and it's one that we've not yet seen them actually play at full strength or ability. "Trending..."  Butler is a good #2 to a title contender, Mirotic looks interesting but I question his ceiling and definitely needs to gain weight, Rose quit in the last playoff game, vanished for spurts, and clearly lost some burst. Noah's going to continue playing on one healthy knee. Pau had an amazing year last season but dealt with a ton of injuries and you're adding another year of wear and tear on his old body. Hardly a 'tremendous core' but rather a deeply flawed group against the top dog of the conference. I think playing the same or similar team over and over against Lebron won't do anyone much good. Barring another Love AND Kyrie injury, this team won't get past Cleveland for the foreseeable future.
  2. I was pissed off after we mustered 1 shot in 10 minutes or something like that on a rookie goalie who hasn't played in a full NHL game before.
  3. Sorry but are the Cavs putting on a defensive masterpiece all of a sudden or are the Warriors just choking? I'd say the Warriors are choking. I've never seen an undrafted white rec league chucker play effective defense in the finals on a MVP, let alone play at all.
  4. Serious question: What's wrong with Bickell?
  5. I'd say no, Lebron is not in Michael's class due to the blowouts and play he had against the Mavs and Spurs in the Finals. I don't think he earns that distinction when he has team hopped, hand picking his teams and putting himself in favorable positions while doing so. The entire East was garbage this year too, so a sleepwalk to the Finals was completely in the cards.
  6. I'm fine with it. I know it looks bad in the mainstream media but Thibs was a maniac that nobody in the organization liked. He had a 5 year run with much regular season success. I think we can find somebody else that can lead us to regular season success. Having 12 minutes in a winnable playoff game with 0 points was an embarrassment.
  7. Glad Q decided to blow game 3
  8. So Vermette and TT show something this series.....when not scratched
  9. And that's why you play Vermette. Huge win. Damn I need a drink
  10. It really is a fireable offense. Granted Q has two cups, but this makes me wonder if this dynasty window is similar to the late 80's Bears where they should have won more then what they did. Q seems to move his roster around to the detriment of the team being unwilling to play his best players. The fact that every team in the league wanted Vermette yet he played him out of position for a long time to now scratching him is flat out stupid. His GM traded a good young piece along with a high draft pick for the guy, yet he's refusing the play him on the biggest stage? i don't even watch hockey and i'm disgusted by this post If you don't watch hockey and you're disgusted, then you're a complete weirdo A - You seem to think winning two Stanley Cups in 5 seasons (and having set yourself up for a good shot at 3 in 6) might be running *below* expectation. B - You think a lineup/roster decision in one game is a fireable offense. C - Get a load of cubbievirus calling someone a weirdo. Yes in a pivotal playoff game, intentionally benching a potential rising star rookie in TT and a coveted Center in Vermette for two subpar players is extremely awful. There's no advanced statistic to support that. Q will get support due to past success but if he's your average coach on a big market team then perhaps he's on shaky ground. But of course you don't watch hockey so you dont have an opinion worth a [expletive]. This is still the most talented roster in hockey and we should have won last year. This year I believe we should and could still win it all, however intentionally making your team worse won't help in a pivotal playoff game won't help.

  13. Q proved last night he'll play anyone with a pulse as long as his gut tells him to. Eerily similar to Dusty Baker playing Neifi and Jose Macias
  14. I'm beyond livid at Q. He shot his bottom 6 forwards in the face
  15. Great power play and great line changes Q. Awesome
  16. Q is a maddening coach. Making Dusty Baker like 'gut' decisions.
  17. Noah wouldn't pass a physical. I'd love for him to be moved, but when you have to preface it with 'he's taking up space on the court,' every other NBA team likely views him the same way.
  18. Whatever. I'm done with the Thibs/Rose whisperering and needing somebody to translate what's going on with the both of the them. Time to hit the reset button and see what a different coaching staff can do. Is a team willing to take Noah's expiring deal?
  19. This doesn't matter at all. Playing well doesn't matter? I'm not going to engage you on this because I know that you're kind of a moron. To be fair, it's kind of dumb to give out a slap on the back for "making it a game at the end." Fake rallys suck.
  20. @JeffGurt: Bulls with 7 shot clock violations in the last 2 games (18 in Playoffs). No other team has more than 9 total in the Playoffs. Too many wasted possessions
  21. Thibs might be a defensive wizard but hes got to get this team cutting and moving more on offense. If I see another 24 shot violation involving Noah on an inbound I will vomit again
  22. That sound is the Bulls title window being shut
  23. Butler is the last player to complain about on the Bulls..
  24. Open looks, giving the ball to Noah and Gibson in the paint as they break the backboard with their shots....
