  1. Actually I laughed out loud at 'meatball tornado' You are easily humored as you are angered. Might wanna get that sorted out my man.
  2. My posture is fine; I have a mighty hump. If you agree that the offense as it stands is fixable, then how was my opinion flawed? I made it abundantly clear that I don't think the offense is "horrible" because they have so many critical parts seemingly in place, AND THEN YOU AGREED WITH ME THEN, TOO. You're so caught up in being in meatball tornado you can't even keep track of what you're mad about. The offense is fixable in the off-season. Not now. The offense of 2012 is quite a horrible and utter failure of a modern day NFL offense. You referred to it being fixable and not that bad in 2012 to which I let out a mighty HAW HAW in your general direction. Meatball tornado? Cmon you can do better then that.
  3. who the [expletive] cares Excellent. Hahahaha the guy who went on record as saying "The Bears offense is not horrible!!!!1111" enjoys an ignorant post that helps him feel better about having such a fail opinion? Say it aint so! The point is that it's a useless stat. The Bears offense sucked just as much in 2011 as it did this year. Forte had 4 100yd+ games including one 200+yd game, and that was in 12 games played. There are plenty of useless stats in the sports world. Some of them one can find interesting, which is why I labeled it as a 'Fun' fact. Of course I'd argue the Forte of 2012 is not exactly the Forte of 2011, but that is a different topic. Its pretty funny how such a useless stat can raise so much vitriol

Hahahaha the guy who went on record as saying "The Bears offense is not horrible!!!!1111" enjoys an ignorant post that helps him feel better about having such a fail opinion? Say it aint so! Christ, you melt down so easily. Look out, I'm "on record" as saying the Bears' offense is fixable. Holy jeez, I'm humiliated. Melt down? Hey I'm just pointing out flawed opinion you had of the Bears offense. LOL @ 'its fixable.' Who's really going to say the offense is not fixable? Feign and posture more please.

  6. Fun fact of the day. There are 18 runners who have more 100 yard games then Forte. He keeps company with Shonn Greene, Bryce Brown, Michael Turner, Knowshon Moreno.
  7. Does Jay Cutler break the tie he has with Ryan Tannehill, Nick Roles, Kirk Cousins, Matt Cassel, Kevin Kolb, Ryan Lindley, Chad Henne, Christian Ponder for 300 yard passing games all at the mighty number of 1? EDIT: I left out Skelton and Gabbert
  8. The names of the backup QBs for Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, and Aaron Rodgers are....... Chase Daniel, Brock Osweiler, Ryan Mallett, David Carr, and Graham Harrell. They combined to make about 3.2 Million this year. Jason Campbell made 3.5 Mil. And the same thing happened to the Bears when Campbell played that would happen if any of those 5 guys played for their team....the team lost. This is not a chicken/egg argument. The Bears didn't lose those 5 games last year because Caleb Hanie played. They lost because Jay Cutler didn't. So, instead of preparing for when Cutler misses games, it would have been wiser to try to build a team (specifically an OL) that would help keep Cutler from getting hurt. Now Cutler did miss time last year due to a non-sack related injury (trying to make a play on INT). But with him taking so many hits, it was inevitable that he might get injured again. The idea should have been to not let him take so many hits. No 7-stop drops are part of the solution, but getting actual guys who can block would be better. That way you don't have to limit your offense to shorter drops 100% of the time. As for the $11 Million thing, it's a 5 man position (OL). And adding Carimi, Webb, and Louis still only gets you to just over 12Mil. This team spends about 20Mil at LB for 3 players. Spends more than 12Mil for 4 DBs. Spends 8.8 Mil on RB. Spends almost as much on WR, not even including Marshall. You can't say "oh they spent 11Mil, they tried!". They didn't. Some of that money was a rookie contract for a guy that was drafted before the new draft cap was installed. Some of that was a veteran player brought back simply for the sake of stability (Garza). Some of that was to replace Kreutz who was lost last year, and they saved money by signing Spencer over him. Great post.
  9. This. I'm very disappointed in Emery's first draft. I thought the trade up for Alshon was good, but everything else sucked. This team simply cannot afford more bad drafting.
  10. 2nd round they had us taking DJ Fluker, OT Alabama. Ogletree and Fluker would be wonderful. No complaints there. Gotta go LB/TE/OL in the top 2 rounds
  11. Wow they add another OT to the mix, which means they have to take somebody off their roster here shortly. I'm a huge Bears fan, but with all the positivity that can be had with them losing this game, I have to root for Arizona for the greater good of the franchise. They nearly spoiled my fantasy prospects by playing a pretty hard game yesterday.
  12. You can land a good C in the 4th round can't you? What is the typical range for a solid C prospect?
  13. I especially love how they employ a guy convicted of manslaughter and a guy who beats up cab drivers. I would employ a seriel killer if it meant we can win a Super Bowl.
  14. The Pats are everything the Bears are not. What a great franchise from top to bottom.
  15. I just saw his presser a few minutes ago; you could SEE the desire to call Hester the dumbest football player he's ever played with, and that he ran the wrong route like he does for 95% of the routes he runs. I was impressed he could hold it in. Also, Brandon Marshall looked like he was going to lose his [expletive]. That was actually unsettling. Also, Matt Forte is hot [expletive] garbage, and I don't care if Michael Bush had to put on a kevlar vest; if he was active, he should have gotten the ball on 2nd and Goal. For Forte to not be able to gain 1 yard over 2 plays is a damned joke. Hester did the right thing as the play had broken down once Cutler did that pump fake, Hester was going to an open area as the DB was in front of Hester and the safeties were about 5 yards behind him. I don't like defending him as I think he needs to be cut since he can't play WR and isn't a returner anymore. This offense is a joke, They have no idea what the middle of the field looks like to any receiver. Davis, Speath, Hester, Bennett are garbage in the middle but at least try and keep them honest. Marshall, Forte, and Allen are the only ones that caught passes. I'm glad Brown was out there and looked good, hugely disappointing Carimi can't do a damn thing. Had a year to rehab and does nothing to improve his weaker upper body strength? Conte and especially Moore looked terrible. Forte isn't the same runner, doesn't want to hit the hole and can't break any tackles. Cutler can't take the next step. Brown looked good? All the sacks came when he flat out missed Matthews stunting right across his face. He got benched late in the game for Edwin Williams. Carimi got benched at RG, meaning the Bears played 4 different OGs today. Conte wasn't terrible. Rodgers is a master at looking off the safety before going where he wants with the ball. Forte has never been a "hit the hole, run over people" type of guy. He's a dancer, who waits for his spot, cuts and then goes. I agree somewhat that Cutler hasn't taken the next step, but can't really blame him. He threw for 3600 yards without Marshall at WR. He has a top 5 WR in the league and still nobody else can do anything. That's not on him unless he's blatantly ignoring them, which we know is not the case. Tice is terrible. He's making me long for Martz back. That stunt he ran completely killed Cutler but I thought overall he did a good job, especially on when he was pulling on the 1st couple of drives. Conte left too many WRs open in the middle not as many as Moore but pretty bad. Cutler will never take that next step if he can't throw to a spot. Marshall is the closest he can do that with but you see Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Manning throw to a spot before the WR makes a break and Cutler doesn't do that. Forte had the ability to get thru the 2nd line of defenders, he isn't doing that. I'm pretty sure the Bears ruined Cutler. Dudes taken a pounding for a solid 3 years
  16. Eh. I'd really have no problem with Bates and Marinelli sticking around. Don't mind either, but I don't think it will hurt if they are tossed either. (Is Bates, Cutler's guy? If so he should stay actually) He is. Anything you can do to maximize Cutler I'm in favor for. I definitely think the offense is salvageable. That said, I don't think Bates is the only solution. If they want to hire a HC who can bring in someone who isn't an OC monster, hey, great. Bates hast done ANYTHING noticeable to maximize Cutler this year. Yeah, this offense is horrible like I said 2 games ago. You can literally get rid of anybody not named Cutler and Marshall.
  17. Lovie has never had a respectable offense during his tenure.
  18. Gutless choking dogs go down with a whimper. [expletive] Lovie and this [expletive] ass franchise
  19. On the bright side Alshon may have helped us to get stupid Lovie away from this team
  20. Help!
  21. Hayward and House have been much better than Woodson was this year. Shields has also had a pretty good year, when he's actually been able to play. Oh okay, you're right. My bad. Packers 72 Bears 0 I laughed
  22. Melton and Jennings are officially out for Sunday's game.
  23. I hope. The Lakers are a joke. Why would you hope for this? Because it's fun watching a train wreck involving the Lakers? But if they fire D'Antoni, they might hire a coach who is a good fit for them. A new coach with a new system would only compound the chemistry problems and the lack of a consistent voice. Also it would be unprecedented to have 3 coaches in one season. At least that's my line of reasoning...

  25. I would guess either on that sandwich sack or when he tried to make an awkward tackle on the INT TD
