let the whirlwind of rumors begin. I for one embrace this, but I hope it isn't a stupid Chicago media started rumor.

Is there anywhere where it shows ownerships commitment to winning? I don't see any statements or proof that ownership is completely willing to help this football team. This next offseason is going to be a test of that ownership to see if they are committed to winning. Honestly if they're going to be lame ducks and wait for the 2011 draft class, I'm going to pickup my Ravens jersey tomorrow and be a fan of them for awhile.

Please ban Wilson already. Guy's a troll. Oh, so Cutler blew this game by being unable to hit an open reciever, and Ron Turners playcalling was total garbage. Gotta love the lack of RB screens and slants.

OH I forgot to mention, how about the stupid idiotic **** playcalling when Hester had a curled route, slipped and let an INT happen, then on the consecutive playcalls, called the SAME exact play that almost got INT'd again. Man this team is brutal.

Forte hasen't gotten anything from handoffs this season. They've been screens or catches that has yielded the most yards. Our recievers block better then our o-line.

awful game. Our recievers are dog crap, and are way too young to be starting. Our OC is an idiot and our coach refuses to hold anybody accountable publically. I'm done watching this season and I hope the bears lose every game from here on out. Change needs to be coming.

Sadly the 2010 season will be much like this one. 1-2 FA's won't change the fact that our defense and O-line is terribly shoddy, with D-league recievers catching the ball.

In terms of pure talent, who's to say our offense isn't as good? Orton and Benson sure look like pro bowlers outside of Ron Turner's horrific system. To me, the skill positions have talent. Adrian Peterson would've had a difficult time gaining yards today with the blocking, and Randy Moss couldn't have done much more than the receivers. It's easy to blame the offensive line, but what about the coach? oh, come on. Orton didn't have a terrific receiving corps to throw to with the Bears and Benson didn't have a great run blocking OL. the Bears really aren't as talented as you think. truth be told, coaching might be a strong suit to this team. they beat the Steelers, who have a more talented player at damn near every position on the field. There's only 1 way to find out. Fire the damn coach. This looks like the same Bears offense for the past 5 years. Terrible run blocking. Same short passes. Constant 3rd and 5's. Over and over again. The excuse used to be that the QB had no arm, or the QB was too reckless, or the offensive line couldn't block, the running back was too slow. How about the offensive coordinator can't design or call a damn play? Can't keep looking at the talent and saying its not there. The players have recycled over and over. The ass designing and calling the plays has remained the same. The same guy who has never been successful on any level in football. This is accurate. The Turner idiot can't design a play that will net us 15-20 yards. He'll design checkdown's and 5 yard gains.

Bear fans need to wake the hell up and see the REAL problem. Our offensive coaching is dreadful. There is zero excuse for this play calling. This was the worst game I've ever seen in terms of offensive stratagy. The nickel and dime 5 yard offensive gains are horrible. The last offensive series was the best one, because we were actually taking shots downfield. I have yet to see a playaction deep pass to two of the more speedy recievers in the NFL. Get pissed Bear fans and let management hear it. We should be 5-0.

We're a big possession reciever away from a great offense.....and I believe via the next two drafts, our focus will be on the OL and defense.

I've read alot of feedback on this trade, seems the fans are split 50/50. The problem with some of their logic is the "Cover-2" system is heavily reliant on the front four pressure. DE is more of a need right now then a safety. You can argue that we need secondary help, but I personally feel with Aflava and Bowmen, they'll both be developing over time and getting better each game. I feel with this next draft, we need to address OL/Secondary/WR. Also something tells me the Bears are going to be in the hunt for quality FA's.

Could the Bears be more active in the FA market in the next few years? Now having a franchise QB, they may be more motivated to spend money? This is a wait and see trade for me. Why did they trade for Gaines if they have Gilbert who is waiting in the wings? Will they let Ogun AND Andersen leave in the offseason?

interesting little nugget, but I just saw and met Stan Thomas former first rounder of the Bears at my gym. Very nice guy, does anyone old enough remember from, i believe from 91-93?
