    So let's assume the Bears hold on for the number one seed. If the Cowboys and Seahawks end up tied at the end of the year, who gets the two seed? What if the Saints are also tied? What if its just the Saints and Cowboys, or the Saints and Seahawks tied? If anyone knows or has a clue as to what the deal is, please let me know, cause I have no clue.

    Clean play. What a terrible play call. I've always hated the fade route. Mizzou calling it on fourth and one in a game put me over the top. What was that Carolina.

    I lived in South Carolina when they first came into existence. Before they came around I was a 49ers fan (thanks to my mom, who rooted for them just because ND alum Joe Montana played for them). I gave up the Niners right after they won Super Bowl XXIX, so let no one ever think I'm a fair-weather fan. :wink: Jjg, Carolina was dominating the game defensively before Philly's final 1st-half drive. The Eagles had punted all 5 drives previously. 21-17. Gotcha.

    Eh, I think in the playoffs the crowd does a good job. Anyways, good to see the Bulls playing reallyl well now FINALLY. Hopefully they keep it up with the easy schedule continuing.

    Hahaha I just watched Jon's highlights of the game on youtube, and thank God I didn't have to listen to Siragusa yelling randomly during plays. Stockton sounded very annoyed on one of those Bears interceptions.

    I really hope Rex turns it around. I was down on him today big time just like everyone else, but I hope next week he can turn it around against a mediocre to bad defense. Come on Rex, we want you to succeed!

    I hope everyone in America agrees with you. And I mean that. Agreed. because that means that everyone else in America realizes, like you do, that Notre Dame doesn't deserve a BCS spot. Under the BCS rules, with only 2 teams allowed per conference, ND does deserve a bid. I realize that. And that's why Notre Dame gets in with no argument, really. But that doesn't change the fact that they don't deserve it. They followed the rules, they won 10 games against a top-25 schedule, and no one else played well enough to earn it apart from ineligible UW. So yes, they do. Don't forget Auburn being ineligible, because they also finished ahead of ND.

    I hope everyone in America agrees with you. And I mean that. That LSU defense is way too fast and strong to get burned very often, and their offense is capable of exposing the Notre Dame defense, especially with a month to prepare. Doesn't LSU also have one of the fastest defenses in America? Should set up some turnovers and short fields for themselves.

    Does UCLA sell both end zones to their opposing fans or just when USC is in town. Both end zones are completely red.

    I just want Kansas to make a bowl game - only because their coach is a really bad fatty. :lol: fair enough.

    If the Alamo Bowl selects Kansas State or Texas Tech ahead of Missouri, I'm gonna be very upset. Missouri beat both of those teams and has 25 players from texas, including Chase Daniel, a legend in Texas. And I dont wanna hear any crap about not traveling well, because if other schools went through the crap that Mizzou went through, they'd travel like crap too. And by the way, when Missouri played in Shreveport Louisiana, we brought around 13 to 14 thousand people. I really hope they don't screw us. Take Texas or Texas A&M, but not those other two schools.

    The higher they climb, the harder they fall. Plus it helps Mizzou for kU to win against a good non-con opponent(conference strength, strength of schedule, etc.). I want kU to be as highly ranked as possible for both our games against them. So you'll be rooting for kU in every game up til the time they play us? Wow. I'll root against kU every day of the year, regardless of who they play. You'll probably hate them as much as I do after you spend another couple years in Columbia. Don't worry Mizzou. I cheer against kU all the time. I went to the game out in Lawrence for football last year. Not a pleasant experience. I will also be attending my first game Thursday. Hopefully we get a decent crowd.

    Still not happy with the loss, but the Bears should get back on track against the Vikings.

    Great post Soul. I agree with everything you said. A lot of people were saying it'd be a wake up call for the Bears. Frankly, I think the Patriots should feel lucky to come out with a win in that game.

    that's not bad news to me. should have been Benson off left guard, Benson of right guard every single play since mid way through the second quarter. Not to me either.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news to some of you, but Grossman is not gonna be benched. It's not gonna happen.

    Bears piss this game away. Bears are the better team. Game was lost on the blocked field goal, and the Grossman fumble in the end zone. Ya stupid idiot Rex.
