  1. MIke Davis and McCamey are really good players. I'm talking Deron Williams NBA good type players. If a couple of your recruits in the next 3-4 years live up to the hype, you guys are gonna be scary good. If you put a couple Deron Williams NBA good type players on any Big Ten (well except IU) they'd be a top 10 team. I'm a little drunk, gimme a break here man.

  3. Illinois is pretty damn good. They did a lot of things really well tonight. Their ball movement and passing was pretty incredible. So many open dunks tonight. And then Mizzou would bring the ball down court, pass around the perimeter, and one guy would take two dribbles inside the 3 point line and jack up a bad shot. It really is amazing the difference between the two teams. Don't take this is as a flame, but if Illinois had a few really, really good players, they'd be an easy top ten team. I'm not a big fan of Weber, but the way the offense is playing under him is impressive as hell.
  4. Thank God Ron Zook is their head coach in football, otherwise we might be getting swept every year. because ron turner was an epic success. Hey man, us Mizzou guys need something to hang our hopes on, cause basketball is obviously a huge waste of time. Anyways, I wish MU was more competitive. I know you guys probably love this, but it is a lot more fun when the games are competitive. you guys throttled us in football and were talking about the upcoming big 12 season halfway through the game,--you damn right i'm loving this. As you should. I really didn't think Mizzou was this bad... and maybe they aren't. Illinois just completely has MU's number. And Illinois looks good too. I really thought this year was the year Mizzou would break the streak. And as much as it annoyed me to have Illinois fans say, "you better win this year," they're completely right. We're screwed. I could see this streak going to about 15 games straight before Mizzou pulls off some miracle win. UGH.

  6. Well, that was hilariously bad. I can always count on the Illinois game to show me that following Mizzou basketball is a huge waste of time. So I guess I'm thankful for that?

  8. Well, this is pretty much par for the course. UGH.
  9. ??????????? http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=280010008 I think instead Mizzou fans will chant BOWL GAME BOWL GAME DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN.
  10. i wouldn't count out a complete choke job next week at Houston No way. I've seen this movie too many times. Vikings have a chance to wrap it up at home and fumble it away 4 times. Bears need everything to go right, can't do anything on offense but get the usual huge special teams plays, some breaks and pull out close wins. It's over zygi would just file some sort of an injunction to get the vikings into the playoffs. Said injuction would just get tipped, bounce off the league office and into Halas Hall. please. everything has gone right for the queens this year. then their two star defensive players get caught using a masking agent and a minnesota judge overrules the league. if there's any justice, minny will lose, bears will win, and the fat williamses will have to sit out the first 4 games of next year. Yeah just like in the first Bears game when you had (another) punt bounce directly into a man on the return team, our punter inexplicably dropped a perfect snap and of course another tipped ball interception. Or last week when we control the game but fumble 4 times (recovering 0 because those are typical odds) and watch Ryan fumble it into the end zone and go through 3 guys for a touchdown. And you're right, the Williams' are obviously juicing. It couldn't have been that they got caught trying to drop some water weight before training camp so they could meet their required weight. Especially Pat who had to sit out the beginning of training camp two years ago for being 5 pounds over. Maybe you should worry more about the Vikings doing a complete choke job than the Bears "getting lucky." The Vikings have absolutely nobody but themselves to blame if they blow it. So get over yourself and stop worrying about the Bears. Cause if the Vikings weren't a bunch of losers in the first place, they wouldn't have to worry about the Bears at all.
  11. Ahh nevermind. Nice job Wade you worthless [expletive].
  12. Someone fill me in on the Bobby Wade references...
  13. Most OU fans agree. So the talent gap between Mizzou and OU is non-existent, its the coaching that proves the difference? Stupid post.
  14. Well, this is about a day late to the conversation, but apparently (according to other Mizzou sites) Pinkel won't offer Hazelton a scholarship? or something to that effect, thus making the interest one sided on Hazelton. I guess Pinkel doesn't want to use a scholarship on a player who's only going to play for one season. I think that's stupid, especially when someone with Hazelton's talent supposedly wants to come to Mizzou. But it's not my decision to make.
  15. As a Mizzou fan, I'm not sure that I like this. I could definitely see UT becoming a big factor in Missouri for the 1-3 big time recruits that the state produces each year.
  16. Eh, I think Bradford will win it, but McCoy should win it.
  17. I hate Alabama BECAUSE of you, not because they're good. Frankly, I was indifferent to them until I heard you spout off all your homerism crap. And as overbearing as Meph is about Florida, which has also led to a disliking of them, I actually hope the Gators kick the living crap outta Bama. Which I fully expect will happen.
  18. I am not a fan of Bob Stoops. He always seems to be running his mouth at this time of year.
  19. Kind of disagree with this simply because of how much the North sucks. It won't happen anyways unless Texas Tech runs the table then loses the Big XII Title. Plus Florida would need to lose again, then beat Alabama in the SEC Champ Game. Well, I'm certainly not disagreeing with that. And it's highly doubtful to happen. But it would suck major ass if Mizzou finally won the conference championship but because of the strength of the Big 12 got left out of a BCS game.
  20. Pretty sure somebody already talked about this, but there's a chance Mizzou could win the Big 12 championship and still not play in a BCS bowl. I'm not sure how exactly it would go down, but let's say two Big 12 Teams end up ranking 1 and 2 in the final BCS poll, then even if Mizzou won the Big 12 title game, they'd be screwed again out of a BCS Bowl. Chances are low that Mizzou would win the Championship game, but that would be soooooo typical for Mizzou if this scenario did happen.
  21. Then hope Mizzou wins the big xii Gee, that'll be really hard for me. I know teams have bad days, but good lord, how in the hell did Ole Miss beat Florida? This team looks unstoppable right now. And one quick question, does Florida return a lot next year?
  22. I want Florida to play USC in a bowl game. That would be entertaining.
  23. Why does Florida get a pass for losing at home to Ole Miss, while Oklahoma is out of it because they lost to a top five team? Pretty stupid to me.
  24. I've been to Lawrence, and as much as I would like the opposite, it seemed like a pretty cool place. Pretty similar to Columbia. Manhattan on the other hand... 1. I went to Aggieville- cool set up, but unless you like hanging out at bars where 75% of the people are dudes, then not the place for you. I couldnt believe it. Where the hell were all the girls. Which brings me to point number 2... 2. K-State girls. My God. AWFUL. I think I noticed maybe 5 girls that I would say were cute or better. The rest sucked. Again, I did like the Aggieville set up, and the no cover at bars, that was sweet. But the amount of guys and ugly girls was awful. I also did go to the Gumby's at like 3:30 in the morning, that was pretty crazy. Oh, and the stadium set up at K-State is ridiculous as well. Out in the middle of farm land. Wtf? It smelled awful out there. Luckily I was hammered and couldn't smell anything after a while.
  25. Going down to Columbia for the Mizzou game this week. Faurot should be rocking with the 7 o'clock kickoff. Should be pretty awesome.
