  1. Could decide the title. Liverpool need a draw. Liverpool need to win. A draw is far, far better for City.
  2. Especially on days when their defense doesn't show up. Which is all too often . . .
  3. They looked good today - they need Man City to drop points though. Technically, they don't. If Liverpool win out, they win the league. But, in all likelihood, that won't happen and City dropping points will be required.
  4. Pretty crazy that's never happened before. Though I guess it makes sense this year. The 4-seeds were particularly strong (Michigan State and Louisville were oft-mentioned title picks). And the 5-seeds seemed particularly weak (I picked three of them to lose--three of them did lose and it took an epic collapse for the other to win).
  5. Villanova is so bad. They lost to Seton Hall. No way they make it out of the first weekend, right? Actually . . . Pats self on back.
  6. Methinks it will be Tennessee, who is actually pretty tough (especially inside).
  7. Man...wish Duke wasn't in the Midwest. I have tickets next week and really wanted to see Parker. Because otherwise I would be thoroughly enjoying this.
  8. They've actually got 2. His 7-3 brother is a freshman. Man, that's crazy. I've never seen an Indian taller than 6'6". Pretty jealous. Would you actually want to be 7-foot-3?
  9. No way they fire Crean a year after having a top 5 team all year, even with underperforming this year, they still lost 75% of the scoring/rebounding on the team. Nor should they. Oh and Noah Vonleh is leaving school. That "report" is complete and utter nonsense. It's amazing that, as long as something is reported in New York, it becomes a story (on PTI, etc.).
  10. That's what I have right now, though debating Duke/Louisville. L'ville will make Jabari's balls hurt. He hasn't seen that kind of defense before. Today's was pretty tough... Totally agree, but L'ville's is even tougher, IMO. Actually Florida would also drive him crazy. My guess is Donovan would float two guys at him at all-times and try to force him to take stand still jumpers. Think you're probably right. Just spit-ballin' here.

  13. If mich is a 1 seed, iowa st better be a 2 because their resumes are basically identical as of right now. not to mention that iowa st beat michigan... Ugh, sorry. My sentence was missing the main qualifier. They don't scream No. 1 seed to me.
  14. What if Michigan wins today, 1-seed? They've had a really good year but they don't scream "No. 1 seed" to me. Though that might not be atypical this year.
  15. That Malcolm Hill charge was epic. How do you charge a guy who is laying on the ground? C'mon, that was a foul. He rammed over his defender. his defender whose feet were barely on the ground and thus could not have been set You don't have to be set to not be rammed over (especially as the primary defender). I mean, seriously, you've surely seen a charge called against a primary defender that was sliding and the offender rammed over him?
  16. I really only like Vonleh and Ferrell for IU, so while you have more talent, it's not a ton more. Pretty certain he's a Michigan State fan, not an IU fan.

  19. And Virginia (?????). Virginia benefitted from one of the most friendly ACC schedules possible to win the ACC. Well, yeah, you're talking to annoying "Mr.-eye-test-guy" but that Tennessee-Virginia score is still pretty inexplicable.
  20. And Virginia (?????).
  21. More proof that conference realignment ruined college sports!
  22. You weren't fond of subbing Howard in for Troy Williams (who scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting) on the biggest offensive possession of the game (down four with 1:30 left)?
