  1. Maybe we'll get 4 1/3 IP of stellar pitching from Harden today.
  2. At this point I would be surprised if we ever got more than 6 IP in a game from Harden in the playoffs. I didn't even know it was possible to run up a 38 pitch first inning without giving up a hit and only one run.
  3. You can't make that play reviewable after the whistle is blown. Players are taught to play their entire lives until the whistle is blown. The question is why don't the refs just eat the whistle in borderline fumble/incomplete pass situations knowing they have the luxury of replay to back them up? It's surprising Hochuli would do that considering he's probably the best referee in the league.
  4. I wanted it all along. A guy who might be an NFL quarterback on any given day, or a guy who you know won't be? If Grossman played today we either win this game by 3 touchdowns...or lose by 3 touchdowns. But yeah, you need SOME sort of vertical passing attack.
  5. So...Grossman for starter? Hah... =(
  6. Play action to a tight end...?
  7. UGh, the Bears ALWAYS have the most disgusting YPA numbers.
  8. Yeah, I honestly don't think the Panthers are that good. Oh well. Heh, the Bears aren't that good either. This is still a Ron Turner/Kyle Orton operation on offense.
  9. Nice of Rashied to take a break from the 3 yard receptions to commit critical holding penalties.
  10. Somebody needs to make a play. How about a redeemer Greg?
  11. And this is where the weaknesses of our team become obvious...when we need our quarterback to make plays and lead us on a scoring drive to hold back the Panthers' momentum.
  12. This isn't the sort of play I expected out of my 7th Flo' Crew members, Olsen.
  13. Any Panthers fans know how Jarrett is progressing? Is he going to be in the mix or buried once Smith gets back? The USC receivers outside of the "other" Steve Smith haven't been looking too good in the pros. I thought Colbert had a good rookie year but he really regressed.
  14. Wrongo He does NOT get free tickets to every game. The tickets he gets are from other fans. He is a giant pain in the butt. Plus he's a prick to everyone who works there. How is he a pain in the butt and a prick to the staff at Wrigley? I'm not trying to be difficult or incredulous to the claims about him--I'm just curious. And is it the same group of fans that gives him tickets? How does that work?
  15. What does he do that's annoying? I'm honestly curious. I'm not from Chicago. It seems like if one wanted to avoid him it'd be pretty simple when the crowds are normally in excess of ~40k a game.
  16. Why does the article say that Ronnie Woo-Woo generates so much hatred from certain people? What's the story behind that? Because he gets free tickets to every game?
  17. I guess I have a different perspective than you guys saying this UM/ND game will be horrible. I think it has a chance to be absolutely transcendent comedy. I can't wait for reaction shots of Dick Rod and Front Butt on the sidelines. The first half of the SDSU/ND game was wildly entertaining so I should enjoy this one.
  18. We had some absolutely hallacious hitting against Indy. Our (healthy) defense flies to the ball--now we just need to wrap up better!
  19. I'd like to see Olsen here.
  20. Hester might do something exciting here. Hopefully the good kind.
  21. Now that is making plays on the line!
  22. I'm just saying it's ridiculous to say that Bob Sanders is only good because he gets away with cheap hits. His instincts are very, very good.
  23. John Lynch is also old (and white).
  24. you're putting mark carrier in a league with those guys? okay. Well he was a good player who had a reputation for being a vicious hitter. How about Steve Atwater?
