  1. I have a Howry eating grin right now. I seriously cannot stop laughing at the Mets.
  2. This is absolutely hilarious. I'm not even happy about the Cubs as I am laughing at the Mets. Reaction GIFs of Mets fans are in order.
  3. Z flirting with a 4+ ERA now. That kind of sucks.
  4. What if he's still perfect through five?
  5. Z looks really sharp so far. Good life on the fastball and he's been pounding the zone.
  6. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN199809120.shtml This game was absolutely epic. I remember being happy that Notre Dame (lol Jarious Jackson lol) upsetting Michigan earlier that day and then the Cubs looked like they were gonna get routed, came back, looked they were gonna get routed again, came back AGAIN and Merced hit that walk-off. That game was pandemonium.
  7. Anyone remember a play (I believe) from that year where Mulholland was brought into a bases loaded, no-out jam in the bottom of the 9th agains the Astros? On what would've been the final out he gets an easy comebacker and just absolutely flubs a soft toss over Grace's head and the Astros win? Edit: Read the thread moron.
  8. Pathetic. How do you play 4.5 quarters and have the quarterback drop back to pass nearly 70 times and not get a single sack?
  9. Are we really going to let Griese march down the field and tie this up?
  10. Maybe we'll get 4 1/3 IP of stellar pitching from Harden today.
  11. At this point I would be surprised if we ever got more than 6 IP in a game from Harden in the playoffs. I didn't even know it was possible to run up a 38 pitch first inning without giving up a hit and only one run.
  12. You can't make that play reviewable after the whistle is blown. Players are taught to play their entire lives until the whistle is blown. The question is why don't the refs just eat the whistle in borderline fumble/incomplete pass situations knowing they have the luxury of replay to back them up? It's surprising Hochuli would do that considering he's probably the best referee in the league.
  13. I wanted it all along. A guy who might be an NFL quarterback on any given day, or a guy who you know won't be? If Grossman played today we either win this game by 3 touchdowns...or lose by 3 touchdowns. But yeah, you need SOME sort of vertical passing attack.
  14. So...Grossman for starter? Hah... =(
  15. Play action to a tight end...?
  16. UGh, the Bears ALWAYS have the most disgusting YPA numbers.
  17. Yeah, I honestly don't think the Panthers are that good. Oh well. Heh, the Bears aren't that good either. This is still a Ron Turner/Kyle Orton operation on offense.
  18. Nice of Rashied to take a break from the 3 yard receptions to commit critical holding penalties.
  19. Somebody needs to make a play. How about a redeemer Greg?
  20. And this is where the weaknesses of our team become obvious...when we need our quarterback to make plays and lead us on a scoring drive to hold back the Panthers' momentum.
  21. This isn't the sort of play I expected out of my 7th Flo' Crew members, Olsen.
  22. Any Panthers fans know how Jarrett is progressing? Is he going to be in the mix or buried once Smith gets back? The USC receivers outside of the "other" Steve Smith haven't been looking too good in the pros. I thought Colbert had a good rookie year but he really regressed.
  23. Wrongo He does NOT get free tickets to every game. The tickets he gets are from other fans. He is a giant pain in the butt. Plus he's a prick to everyone who works there. How is he a pain in the butt and a prick to the staff at Wrigley? I'm not trying to be difficult or incredulous to the claims about him--I'm just curious. And is it the same group of fans that gives him tickets? How does that work?
