  1. literally impossible to see anything going down the right field line thanks mlb
  2. nice thought but the "don't be a stinker" clause clearly states you can't do that and get away with it
  3. the turd in the punch bowl of the theo era is how the bats absolutely went in the tank in the playoffs and unfortunately that has continued when we actually step off our own dicks enough to actually make the playoffs
  4. it’s not clear to me that if we had “torn it all down” that we’d be in any worse a position than we are right now
  5. so it’s simultaneously true that there was nothing much worth changing but you’re confident that we have the brain trust to make the necessary changes cool
  6. end of the season? he’s given up 22 home runs since the all star break
  7. ok so why hasnt Counsell et al fixed it by now, this game was pretty important
  8. how many pitches can mis go? he is not lacking for confidence rn
  9. I don’t know what the mix was but he didn’t go splitter away as much as he does when he’s at his best
  10. Yeah shota had established the inside corner already in that inning not nearly enough of the splitter away
  11. seriously sounded like a broken bat on the PA at the bar I’m at
  12. brewers are spitting at everything even slightly out of the zone, pretty impressive. whatever prep work they put into this series seems to be paying off.
  13. no one can assess value 2-3 months after the deadline, it's almost entirely projection. and everything looks like an overpay when management is cheap as horsefeathers. if the cubs, organizationally, were trying harder to win the world series, less things would look like an overpay. it's all downstream of that.
  14. adding an SP is automatically an overpay? why?
  15. it looks like the brewers are impervious to chasing and none of our starters are overpowering in the zone
  16. is counsell going to get a single important decision right before we get eliminated?
  17. maybe don't tie one off after clinching things
